The older I get, the more old landmarks there are that fade away; it is a sad reality of our lives;

Thankfully there are some landmarks that will survive..

But I never heard of giving a bridge away, but will be interesting to hear more on this!

I guess only public groups are eligible to take it? I know the perfect place for it, but it isn't public and I haven't a clue how to move the bridge!

A beautiful span... I hope someone has the imagination to do something with it...It would look pretty good painted up a dark green...Many times demolition costs can be given to the one who takes and preserves it.
