Garth Brooks to perform nine concerts in KC -- Shows mostly sold out

It's funny how so many tickets are available on the web, and I couldn't get one the minute ticketmaster opened it's site?????????? What is wrong with that picture?

I agree, Deb. I live 100 miles from anywhere to go buy a ticket. The web was my only option. I was right there at 10AM on line with Ticketmasters. Just wanted 2 tickets best seats available and at 10:01 AM they said no tickets were available? Each time they added a show, I tried and got the same response each time. Have you seen all the tickets for sale on eBay for more than $500? Garth are you listening? Your fans are getting the shaft!

What more do you want the guy to do? Maybe he should just perform 15 nights in a row.... It took awhile but I got my 4 tickets via ticketmaster no problem

I had three people trying to get me Gath tickets as well as myself, We tried to get them online as soon as the phonelines opened, and at 1003 I was informed they were sold out, my friend number 1 at 1020 sold out, friend 2 1100 sold out, friend 3 sold out at 1035.
Like everyone else how can they be on ebay for outlandish prices and those who live here cannot get them.

I am not understanding anyone, first off if you were on the web buying tickets I do not see why you wouldnt have them. Everyone I know has had no problem getting tickets. You just had to be fast. The people selling on ebay probably bought extra tickets, becuase they could purchase 6 of them. Sorry, check craigslist.com they may be cheaper on there.

how can they be sold out within three minutes of the lines opening? They cant. and for all of the shows at that..
I am a Garth Fan, I have seen this man over 27 times, I have flown to numerous states to see him. But out of all the shows no one could get not even 1 ticket. what are the odds of that.

You definitely had to be fast with this one. I too tried to get 4 tickets at 10am but to no avail. Then tried for 2 and got them. What happens is you have more people at the same time trying to get tickets than there are seats available. Let's see, 18,000 or so seats, and 20,000 + people trying to get tickets at the same moment= sold out instantly. Then figure that each person is buying at least 2 tickets and that reduces the availability by half. It's not that hard to figure out. What you do is never give up. I've done the online thing numerous times and there may be no tikets at 10am but there is at 10:10am. This is becuase of numerous things that can happen. A person's credit card is refused, or a person decides to give up their tickets to try for better seats, or they lose their internet connection during the process of purchasing, and so on...
Let's just go back to the "good ole days" when you camped outside in line for 2 days or more and it was "first come, first served".:-)

Face it if you got tickets for any of the nine shows you were VERY LUCKY!!!!!! I agree you can never give up on tring to get tickets for his shows.

If he starts touring again my husband and I would do what it takes to see him. He is that good. If you do not like him then do not go see him j-dog.
