He isn't leaving any messes. Let's not forget about the way he handled the sad situations earlier in the year. The school board is behind him 100% and they are not happy to see him go. I have known Mr. Settles for years. I've sat many a time in his office dicussing my children, while he was at Waterloo. I cannot say this for hardly any other principal or Super we have now. I know his daughters, who are wonderful girls. It saddens me to see so many people JUDGE a person, they really do not know.
I wish Mr. Settles and his family all the best in their endeavors. I would love to see him back in Waterloo as well, I think he would do a wonderful job for us, once again, here in Waterloo.

Unless you are blaming HIM for the bombing, murders, traffic accidents? The only thing that he was actually involved in was the selfish family putting their childs needs over everyone elses. BTW, hasn't that ended with all parties satisfied?

Listen folks.......do not be blinded for these few, very few, supporters of this man. He did the same in Smithton, and the Smithton School Board let him go, and I guarentee the Columbia School Board did the same. He loves to have the attention on him, no matter if it is good or bad. But when it is bad, he is never to blame. I just hope he keeps on moving farther and farther away and NEVER come back. Don't let the door hit you on the "you know what" on the way out!
