Terrible filthy old man. A very common occurence but not prosecuted enough. It is always fishy when an older man travels to Thailand, or Cambodia, Etc. alone, and not for business. What else would he be doing? Not all, but alot.

You sick buggah. I have a favorite punishment for rapists and pedophiles: it involvesa plastic knife, nails and fire. As a sexual assault victim myself, I feel qualified to render this judgement on you and anyone else who exploits kids. You have a really issue with power and control and, unfortunately, paying some fine isn't likely to change your behavior. You'll just go somewhere else... I can think of one hot place where you really belong.

The Cambodian Goverment should have kept this 'sicko' in their jail forever. We do not need this sicko back in our land.

Mandatory restitution? What the heck is that? Is he gonna go back there, find that young girl, and pay her and get her counseling so she can recover from his assault? Or does that mean he pays money to our government and calls it even?

They should of cut his dixk off and let him play with it in jail.

Asia should do background check all over 40yrs that are travel to asian alone. If they travel by themself... it pretty much they're up to no good.

Pedophiles of any and all ages go to Cambodia for this type of tourist entertainment. Cambodians would prefer however that they entertain themselves in a more private setting.

It was almost like we rewarded him by bringing him back out of the Cambodian jail.

She could have told him she was 18. You never know.

They should of left the guy in prison in Cambodia. Cost us nothing and they would have treated him worse then we treat our prisoners here.

No, no, the 18 year olds there that cater to the trade are instructed to say they are only 12.

A friend of mine who lives in Phnom Penh recently returned to the USA through Seattle and was taken aside by border officials (immigration) accused of being a paedophile. He was given the third degree and his laptop inspected. In the end he was let go because he was innocent. It was a deeply humilating experience. He was obviously profiled because of where he was coming from and his age.

He was profiled because customs was tipped off. That's how it works. He was smart enough to carry a clean laptop. Hardly the same as innocence. And ask yourself why he's not planning to go back. Or why neither of you will be going back.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Aries

There are mixed messages flying around in the ether today, so be wary about drawing any concrete conclusions from what happens now. Even though you don't realize it, you may be misreading the signs that someone is sending out, which will lead to complications later on. Be especially careful about indulging in romantic daydreams and then believing them.
