Hi.. im a stay at home mom of 3 children.. orginally from NH/Maine then in 2006 moved to Florida for a change but my hubbys not happy.. misses the snow and such.. and has always wanted to move to Montana.(Ive never been there but he has.. he is a truck driver)
What kind of place is Kalispell? It seems really very nice from what ive read. Is it Crazy expensive to live there? How are the school systems?

We are to our selves kind of people..(one reason we want to move from Fl) our nieghbors here are wild, drugging, drinking kind of people... and we do NOT want to raise our children around these people.. The most in the way of noise we do is ..well normal kid noises..LOL..and my husband is a drummer but totally respects neighbors and will NOT drum when the time is NOT approp. just thought id include that cause i was reading some posts about how people migrate to Kalispell and are rude and such... we would not be that way. |

By coincidence, Sarah from AR has a similar thread going here. I responded to her questions, check it out there.
It's different here and we prefer it stay that way, so we get a little upset at how the place is getting so "californicated". Kalispell is a working class town, being invaded by people who don't have to work, or can't, or won't, if you know what I mean. Any service related business does well, when they can get enough help to do the job. Schools are terrible, read more in my post to Sarah. Truck driving is a popular occupation here. As I said to Sarah, come and take a look. |
