Sheriff's Wife Charged With Stealing

Law Enforcement people do not make "big money"...where was the sheriff's street smart scences?...He can not lie and say he did not know...BS all the way...typical elected official.

There definitely had to be warning signs.

I think they should both be held responsible.Your average joe would have the book thrown at em.Sounds like another Amelda Marcos story.How many pairs of shoes did she buy a week?Yeh she was doin some bigtime spending.Living a lil extravigant for sure.The woman should do some long hard time in the prison system.Or would that be wrong because her hubby was the sherriff and she'd live in fear of her safety.Lock her up,it's what she deserves.

I wish I could say this Sheriff is full of political SHIT and with her stealing up to half a million I bet his uniform has a real gold badge and gold buttons and maybe he has a rolexx.

If you lie, cheat, steal, you also pay the price like everyone once you get busted. He had to notice the number of shopping spree's that she was on and the amount of money she was spending. I know it's your wife dude but being a Sheriff you should have known or had doubt's, some thing.
Both of them have to pay this money back! Sell every thing they have to start, make her serve her time, which should be years!

It has been said that this is not her first time stealing form a company. I guess she got away with in the past.

I understand that this is hurting not only the staff but all members of the Farmers Union, new and old members. Bills and premiums to insurance companies are piling up and no money to pay these. But still the President is in office but the CEO has been fired and all employees have been laid off, wonder if Kathy really knows how many people she has affected with her $500,000 withdrawal from the Farmers Union. I think more then community time needs to be served, I don't care if she is the sheriff's wife!!!!

really people, do you know the sheriff? I do i remember when he found out. he was sick, and still is. he didn't know. the money was electroniclly coming in and out going to her credit cards he never knew. today with everything done on the computer there was no paper trail for him to see. it is sad that this has happened. but leave the sheriff out of it.. she has admitted her guilt and testified he knew nothing about it.

Geez, not only is this sad and disheartening to her family, it is reasonable that her husband may not have known... that will be investigated as well, we are all assured. It behoves anyone how you can take advantage of the innocent!! Babies, elderly, FARMERS? Steal their cattle you bankruptcy whore but not their future!! They are the future of America - not your bank account!! They work, work, work and work more hours daily than you are awake and yet you take, take TAKE!(I mean took!) Liers and theifs are bad but if half the world would know what it is like to be him and his job to be demanding then you would know that all police wives do the money paying in the house because the sherriff has no time he is to busy protecting everyone ealse and women can be very good at covering things up let alone hidding whatever so before you judge you need to have the proof i am so sick of steroe types that think because she is quilty he is that is not true all the time and untill the truth is proven then people need to stop trying to run his name in the ground and she is the one in the wrong
