SHOOTING: Teen killed in Othello drive-by

he was my best friend and now theres people talking stuff about him thats what i call disrespect

I can't believe what is happening to my town. I chose to raise my kids in Othello because it was a great place to grow up. Now it is haven for low life wet back scum. I am no talking about the mexican familys that are rooted in Othello and are productive members of the city. I am talking about the punk ass gang members who are bringing our town to it's knees. It is a shame that kid got killed but lets look a the bigger picture here. Our kids are in danger, White and Mexican, because of a small section of our town. maybe the Police should crack down harder on these punks. I'm not talking about making them paint over thier graffiti, I am talking about if they get caught for anything gang related throwing thier asses in jail. I worry for all of our kids.
To the police and judges, When these punks are caught lets not stop at a speedy trial lets end thier freedom completely. I say an Eye for an Eye.

This is to the a comment on this web posting. I completely agree with you. Julio Cervantes was my cousin, and will be deeply missed by our family. What we do need to do is pray for our teens who are lost, and seem to find themselves in the wrong environment. From what I heard, they caught the 3 kids who took Julio's life. It broke my heart that one of the kids caught was 13 years old. Kids killing kids, this is a horrific thought. Julio was a great kid, and had many awesome qualities but were taken by stupidity. Vengence is not ours to fight, but with God. I pray that Othello does crack down on this gang activity and puts a stop to it. Julio Cervantes...I love you mijo, you will be missed.

Well the "13 year old" is my cuzin and from wat i know it was the other 2 dumbasses the "13 year old" was being accused. He wasnt exactley involved.... I miss him so much...

Julio will be missed dearly, I put him in my prayers now that I'm going to college and every step of the way. It reminds me of all the positive things he did at church when he was with us. It's been two years since he's gone and I'm glad they caught some of the suspected killers. I hope they get locked up for life and repent of their sins in jail.
