What an example for children. Professional conduct standards in public schools demand much more. Would this not be in violation of the law? Suspension is too light. Conduct a thorough investigation and termination at a minimum would be more fitting.
Ah, you forget the was the princiPAL, an administrator.
Don't you know that administrators are untouchables?
It is only the LOWLY ONES that get fired: teachers, aides, bus drivers, cafeteria workers, maintenance workers.
Let's see and figure this out:
Jupiter HS former principal Nessmith did NOT rehire a teacher/coach because he did not keep receipts of expenditures.
BUT this Principal Johnson, who LIED
about the number of students in her school (purportedly to keep an assistant principal (kid of a good old boy principal from the old days),
and told teachers to give those imaginary students grades only gets a 20 days suspension without pay!!!!!
Alot of inequity in the school district.
Principal Gwen Johnson LIED: to the school district, to the State. She claimed money for her school that she was not entitled to. Isn't that stealing, fraud?
Understand the Area Superintendent "retired"; former area administrator has been placed elsewhere.
And let us not forget that PrinciPAL Gwen Johnson will continue to receive her $90,000 salary while working elsewhere in the district.
This PrinciPAL should be forced to retire. She has her 30 years of service. She does not need to continue in DROP. DROP can end at ANYTIME.
This is blatant favortisim. This school system should rid the district of ANY personnel that casts shadows.
Well, let's see: the school district can NOT afford raises for teachers and cops, but at least two former princiPALS: G Johnson and K Harris (of Boynton HS) are going to be sitting at the district office collecting their salary and biding their time until they can "retire".
Ain't it grand that taxpayers get to foot that bill?
The school board cries we have no money, but keeping unneeded administrators around until the administrators decide it's time to retire.
The good old administrators protect their own and leave any other groups to fight for themselves.
Watch, not a school board member will challenge this (and certainly not Robinson).
Vote out INCUMBENTS:
Monroe Benaim
Carrie Hill
Mark Hansen
Time to re-organize. Time to change the broken system.
This is out-right favortism of administrators.
If this had been a teacher, the teacher would be fired.
Hey, Jupiter area vote in a candidate that will keep your neighborhood schools intact, will provide fair treatment of ALL employees; not just preferential treatment for administrators.
Something is WRONG with the school system.
