Florida Neighbors Not Happy With Michael Jordan Who's Building a 'Walmart Size' Home

Full story: eurthisnthat.com

*Michael Jordan is moving to Jupiter, Fl., but that's not far away enough for jealous neighbors. They're already complaining that his home is way too big and that he's just "showing off." The home is nearly 38,000 square feet and has 11 bedrooms ... to start! The house will be completed near his favorite pastime since leaving basketball ... golf. Ever since his ex-wife Juanita took his palace in Illinois during the priciest divorce of all time he's needed someplace to stay. This is his way of saying to her, you didn't take everything! I still got a couple dollars left. He has something to prove ... to her. Obviously his neighbors don't understand that. There's even MORE to the story. Click over to get it.

I never understand why celebrities spend all their money on a house. MC Hammer went broke building a house.

I wish Jordan would help some of the poor people instead of building a mansion. But when people worship the ground you walk on it seems to go to celebrities head. I admire Jordan but recently he has been doing eratic stuff. It must be because of the divorce.

Having a 45,000 square house is the American Dream. What do you expect-the guy is worth almost a million dollars; do you expect him to live in a bugaloo? What kind of eratic stuff has MJ been doing recently. No, you know if you read that Bill Gates bought this house you wouldn't say a thing.

If the richest black people spent their money helping uplift the poor blacks then I woundn't say anything about rich people splurging on themselves. Only a few rich Blacks spend money helping other Blacks. I'm mostly talking about investing in Black areas like Magic Johnson does and a few other rich black guys. I've never heard of anything Jordan has done to help Blacks, same as I never heard of Michael Jackson doing anything either. And us Blacks worship them cause they are rich.

All wealth belongs to God and you will be judged on how you spent your money. You can't take it with you but you can try to help the poor.

Is that the total cost of the house, 7 million.

I assumed Jordan was building a really big mansion in Florida. Many rich people in Florida own houses in that range, especially in Central and South Florida. He must be building his house in a place with tree huggers who don't like big houses.

How do you know how Michael Jackson or Michael Jordan spend their money? Or donate their money? I believe both Michaels have/had major foundations. Not to mention the huge amouth of taxes they pay. As far as worshipping rich people--some superficial black people would worship a cup of coffee if it were rich.

Its HIS money and he can do whatever he wants. It is nobody's business but his own. I am sure if I had the money I would do the same thing. He earned his money and he can spend it however he wishes.

It all wouldn't be HIS money if wasn't for consumers buying his products. I bet Jordon has made more money off his shoes, then anything else.

Seriously. No one ever questions what Bill Gates or the owners of Wal-Mart do with their money. We seem to treat entertainers and sports figures differently.

The only Black celebrity I can think of who invests in the Black community is Magic Johnson. But its a few others who help out but they are not as famous.
These Rich Blacks like Jordan and Oprah and the late Michael Jackson are not doing enough with Their money to help the Black community.
I'm sure all these guys have charities they help out but come on. If I'm worth a billion and I only give away a million have I really done anything spectacular to help people. Especially when these people blow more money on vacation than they give to help the poor.

It's not so much about helping the poor or giving back to the AA community, it's simply the moral thing to do. If blacks are responsible for the success of his products, he should have foundations set up which benefit us. If a person helped me in some way, I would pay them back some how.

Michael Jordan supports many charities just like David Robinson does with the Carver Academy here in San Antonio. Again they have earned their money and they do not owe "anybody" anything. It seems some of us do not read or research before making comments. It is their own business what they do with their money!

And you know this how???? Lots of wealthy celebrities do thing and don't want to publicity. No athlete is worth a billion dollars; and a million dollars is still a ton of money for any cause. If someone blows more on vacation than they give to the poor that is their business. I have a problem with telling people what to do with their money.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Virgo

Unfortunately, this looks like being another difficult day, and, as Mars turns retrograde, certain people are quick to take offence or raise their voices. Make sure you aren't adding to the tension by doing or saying something that's provocative or even downright insulting. If you get involved in a shouting match it will be difficult to stop and you could say some nasty things in the heat of the moment.
