Granite or any similar rock can get really slick when wet. Wonder what kind of shoes he was wearing.

I was at the Aiguille du Midi where the 'ramp' leads skiers down to the Mer de Glace and observed a couple of beanballs walking around out there in sneakers. I was wondering if I was going to witness one of them rocketing off the face.
