Injustices and Inexperience Of Our Police Department

Hi Everyone. I am a Concerned Citizen Of Lee County With a Agenda! My purpose Of my posts In these Forums is to point out to the public what is Wrong with our Local Authorities! I want to point out some things you all should know!

1. A woman hit a Pedestrian with a Car some years ago in Rose Hill, Virginia. It was concluded that the man walked out in front of the Vehicle and she hit him, basically saying it was the man's fault. If the Officer who did the report would have measured the skid mark she had left on the road, they would have determined the speed of which the vehicle was traveling. Seeing the skid mark near the time of the accident she would have been traveling at a estimated 50mph in a 35mph Zone. Also I understand that a drug test was never administered! I believe that the reason this happened was the lack of experience the officer had who did the report. Another thing that I will throw out their is that her mom was a principal at one of the county's elementary school's. I believe this was a sad injustice and should be noted on this Forum.

2. Two Former Coaches at Thomas Walker High School was accused of having improper relations with students at the school. We were told that the State Police was investigating the matter and that was all we were told. It simply died down. A representative at the Lee County Sheriff's Department admitted that they all knew it was going on, but the victim's of the alleged crimes have admitted to no wrong doing and that they could do nothing for this reason. It is common knowledge here in Lee County that this has happened. I honestly believe that enough circumstantial evidence could have been gathered given the work of a experienced and skilled officer investigating the case. It simply died down as fast as the "VERY Brief" news story came on, and popped off!
REMEMBER FOLKS, PARSONS DID NOT KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE!

Stories like this have led me and others in our county to believe that our department does not have the experience, and lack of knowledge to conduct a proper investigation.

Does anyone else have a story of injustice by the Lee County sheriff's department that they would like to share? Remember Citizens, we need to communicate with each other, and have open discussions to become more knowledgeable about the things that are going on in our county. Being more knowledgeable will help us keep our county safe and making the right decision come election time.

I need your support to help make this happen!

I think you should concern yourself with your own affairs and leave the investigating to authorities with badges and experience. Just cause you don't like what they do, doesn't mean you can call anyone names and say they lack anything.

I know of some incidents and the police acted accordingly, people like "CONCERNED CITIZEN"-s should find better things to focus on and spend time doing less gossip on the net.

This is my affair. It is also my business. I am paying their salary! It is also in my interest and every single tax payer and citizen's interest of lee county to go ahead and criticize their work if it needs to be. Like I said before, the police department receives "NO" feedback on their job performance by the citizens. We each have every right to criticize their work!
CitizenX you will need to say something better than what you just said, because you were wrong on all parts of your message.

I think you and your big typing mouth will get you in hot water, you been all over topix writing about people using their real name and now you say it's your right to criticize. You better think again and look at your own actions as something the police would be mighty interested in looking to investigate. You're an agitator and I found most all of your posts to be gossip minded and unworthy of response.

I've seen you on the Belle Haven forum, I've seen you on the Jonesville forum, you wonder from one to the next and make accusations about many people, I hope they find you and charge you for this reckless assault on the net. Then you can complain about the police doing more than you like.

Tell me, are you the same concerned citizen who was so concerned with the old lee county site and how they talked about some teacher? If so, you are doing exactly what you were upset with those people for doing. You are on here, insulting people who were not charged in crimes and listing their names for the whole town to see and read about. If I were you, I'd stop this constant gossip on these people and find better avenues with my time on the net.

Concerned citizen needs to get the facts straight. The Sheriffs Office does not work traffic accidents, thats is the Virginia State Police's job and the TW coaches case was handled by the Virginia State Police. So it sounds if Concerned Citizen is just trying to stir trouble.

I think that Bad to the bone has it pegged right about ones on this forum are just interested in causing trouble, for one thing it is hard to believe that a whole police department knew of a crime and no action was taken and it is a very strong statement to make that the Virginia State Police and Sheriffs Office has not got the ability to put a case like this together or that they together covered up this wrong.

I am sorry that concerned citizen has been a victim of a crime but you cannot expect the Sheriffs Office to solve every crime. I am sure if concerned citizen was truly done wrong by anyone at the Sheriffs Office all they would have to do is contact the Sheriff he would see that the officer or officers made it right. Citizen X it's hard for some to respond to the truth.

I am posting so that the truth can get out there. So that the police department can read my posts, and maybe it could help them become better officers, and/or elected officials. It is not a secret that mistakes have been made. It is also not a secret that our department lacks common law enforcement knowledge that you would find in larger departments across our country. I am just trying to point out the mistakes of our department. But, instead of listening to me, the department comes on this site and tries to justify the actions of the coaches. Tries to justify their ( The Departments ) actions by going "AROUND" the problem by attacking my ability to be able to ask this. Sort of like Big O Fan!!! He works at the Sheriff's Department.
I will not talk about him personally, but I know who he is.

CitizenX, Sorry but for saying "THE TRUTH" gets me in hot water like you just said, then I guess I will just be in hot water then. I will not stop doing what is morally right! And it is my obligation as a good citizen to help stop things like what has been happening, just being let go.

Again concerned citizen has their facts wrong. I don't work for the Sheriffs Office. Again this is a very good example of guessing.

I don't know about Big O Fan working for the Sheriff's Office and I believe that 2011 is the next election. I would like for concerned citizen to give us more than a couple of case that were handled by another agency.

I don't think that I got a clear answer on how can you gage the knowledge of one agency by another agencys action. The Doyle case was handle by the Sheriffs department but the two cases being used as a measuring stick were handle by other agencies.

You guys go read the Gothic Students thread and see just how CC isn't worried about school childrens safety. What a gossipping hypocrite!

It may be someone from that lee county website, did anyone else read Nita's comment about how great it was to see a gay marine's billboard vandalized? Pathetic!

Deleted, it was a happy post in favor of terrorizing and hatred toward the gay community and Nita noted in glee about the vandalism being something they deserved.

I notice now she posted up a good comment for our troops, hypocrit!

I have not read the comment that Nita has posted but if it is true, then i feel that maybe he or she needs to think about sacrifices that each of our men and women in uniform make each day so people like Nita can have the freedom to make such thoughtless comments. As President Roosevelt's wife said " Marines have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for The Marines".
