So, what would you carry as a primary and a secondary weapon. With Primary, being a larger caliber and Secondary being the same as the larger caliber or smaller. So, what would you carry? My best friend sorta looks a bit like the little mermaid so she gets bothered by rednecks & pervs a lot. She has 2 guns, but only carries 1. Which she carries depends on what she's wearing or what season it is. In winter when she wears heavier clothes she has a 40 caliber model 23 glock. But in summer when she wear lighter clothes & things are harder to conceal she keeps a baby glock with her. It's also 40 caliber. Small but puts real big holes in pervs that tries things with either of us. Like she says ~~ Glock ~~ for when saying "no" just isn't quite good enough.

Do some of you really believe you are going to ever get into a long drawn out gun battle to the extent where you will need those extra clips? Face it people. This is reality, not some TV show. If you can't get the job done with that first clip, either you don't need to carry a gun in the first place or you are in the wrong neighborhood to start with. FWIW I carry a Taurus 24/7 .40 caliber with a 15 shot clip on the job and I also have the smaller frame version of that pistol, the Taurus Millennium Pro .40 caliber with a 10 shot clip that I use for concealed purposes. With either of those pistols, using the hollow point personal protection style ammo is plenty enough to do the job. I sure hope it's enough to do the job, But you don't know what may happen. You may not need it in a million years. I would rather be prepared than be caught short.

It just depends on what area of town I may be going to or through on that particular trip that I use as a basis to carry or not. Arkansaw saying the same doesn't make him a liar. Don't forget that these people in that part of town have cars. Someone has said they don't go the that part of town. You don't have to go into that part of town, That part of town will come to you. But of course it helps to stay away from the ghetto but when your job takes you there not much you can do about it.

signs at banks and elsewhere are evidence that the managers are stupid. if someone wants to rob the bank a sign will not stop them, haha. the same way democrats want to disarm law abiding citizens, and the criminals will keep their weapons. haha

Might just be where you were from. I took a hunter education course, in 1982, as something to pass the time. That class was taught by an AGFC officer and a Sgt. from the ASU armoury. In this class, both the instructors stated, on a pistol, it is a clip, on a rifle, it is a magazine. Just sayin'...

I didn't make it clear. On a rifle, such as a 30-30 or some models of .22, with a tube, it is a magazine, according to them.

Y'all sound like a bunch of kids bragging about the type handgun you carry. There are many good handguns made. Just because you like a certain one doesn't mean I would. Shop around, try out your friends guns at the range. Read magazines to find out how others feel. You have to carry one for a while to really see if you like it. Thats why I own more than dozen. I'm still looking for the perfect one. I am getting close tho.

It's all about personal preferance. Put your hands on as many as you can and find one you like. And consider yourself lucky. Alot of countries won't allow you to own a gun.

The only bill since January 2009 which would've adversely & unjustly affected legal gun owners was a republican bill. They wrote it to be a sister law to the Patriot Act. The democrats immediately shot it down ~~ excuse the pun.

Hey fellow carriers, despite illegal locations to carry weapons, if you see NO GUNS ALLOWED, NO.FITEARMS, a picture of a gun slashed out, etc, you can carry there. In the state of AR the sign must say THE CARRYING OF FIREARMS IS PROHIBITED on.the door. Its a law.

But it's best to respect the wishes of the owners of whatever it is, business or otherwise. If gun owners doesn't respect them how do you expect everyone to respect gun owners. I "do" believe in the right to legally own & carry guns. But there has to be common sense in anything. Why intentionally make more people turn against the right to carry guns in public? Respect the wishes of property owners.
