dont you understand "it works"? its a anti depressant drug and it works by being a solution/fix to the problems faced by depression. if you dont understand that then you need a much more powerful drug .... And if your asking about side effects and other problems Then ask about that, not about has anyone tried it or taking it now and "how is it".

I have taken it for a few years. It makes a very subtle improvement in your mood. You don't really notice that it's doing anything unless you forget to take it. Only then do you realize how much it helps you to cope with stress or mild depression. If you are severely depressed or dealing with a real crisis it won't help much with that.

I haven't noticed any side effects. I was told weight gain was a possible side effect, but that hasn't happened. Even if it had, I'd rather be fat and happy than skinny and sad!

I have been taking it for about 8 years and I think it works great. No side effects that I have ever noticed. I took Paxil one time and at times it seemed to be hard to get an erection. Other drugs also seemed to make me very sleepy. Hope this helps

I'm on 20 mg and being monitored by a psychologist every few months. She thinks I'm handling 20 well. However, I'm also on a mood stabilizer which helps.

I took it for about two years and it helped me ALOT!!! If I were in a position where I needed it again I wouldn't hesitate. No side effects for me either except some weight gain but may have happened because I was so happy I ate more.

I was on it for while and they had me taking 40mg per day and I got to the point I would not know how I got to where I was going. I think it hurt my mind and memory. It simply did not work for me but that may be due to larger dosage.

I was taking Lexapro and it seemed to work in the beginning. I did seemed to lose my desire to have sex and put on a few pounds. I felt a little bit sleepy during the day. After being on it for about 2 months I didnt think i was feeling as calm as I was in the beginning. My doctor put me on a new drug called Viibryd. I felt better instantly. I feel calm and my sex drive is back, I have sort of lost my appetite but I'm hoping that is temporary. It's been much better so far.

I tried Viibryd and after about 5 months had a total break down! Was switched to Lexapro and I'm doing good so far.

I've been taking Lexapro for 3 years now & I cant tell anything at all, but Im too scared to get off of it for fear of withdrawl. It seems to do for me about the same thing as a drink of water.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Aries

You're idealistic and impressionable today, and want to see the best in everyone. Look straight past their faults, pretending they aren't there; concentrate on their good points instead. If a new relationship gets off the ground now it will always be characterized by an aura of romance and fantasy, and a slightly otherworldly quality.
