And to add to the mix,,,Arkansas law rule 3 3.1 state police can only detain you for 15 minutes,,,so anything thing over that is being held against your will unless probable cause,,

You need to quit thinking that they are above the constitution!!

Rule 2.2. Authority to request cooperation.
(a) A law enforcement officer may request any person to furnish information or otherwise cooperate in the investigation or prevention of crime. The officer may request the person to respond to questions, to appear at a police station, or to comply with any other reasonable request.

(b) In making a request pursuant to this rule, no law enforcement officer shall indicate that a person is legally obligated to furnish information or to otherwise cooperate if no such legal obligation exists. Compliance with the request for information or other cooperation hereunder shall not be regarded as involuntary or coerced solely on the ground that such a request was made by a law enforcement officer.

NOTICE THIS IS ARKANSAS LAW they can request it but you don't have to show it!!!

Any info on renters rights VS. slum lords? Nope, cause there isn't any here. Aint shit we can do about it in JB, the city has no property maintenance code. They can let your house rot and refuse to fix a thing, but evict you if you withhold rent.
First hand knowledge, btw.

sir you are mistaking you do not have to show any private possesion of any sort. You can decline any and all identification if not a suspect of a crime. Anyone can decline to even speak to you. if and when declined any consent to show identification you have no right to ask any futher. unless you beg him within the law of the time limit required anything over that time limit he is free to walk by law unless detained which require a reason for detaining.

example: if joe was walking down the street and thus far he just looks suspicious and you decide to I.D. him. you can pull over and ask him for his I.D. key word is(ask) him. demand him is against the the law. if he refuses to produce his I.D. you can only ask simple question as to where he is going or what he is doing. If he declines to answer he is within his rights to ask if he is being detained and if he is being detained he has to provide you with the necessary I.D..But you can not detain him because he looks suspicious. their is no reason to detain joe. As joe walks away and you demand him to stop and search him you find narcotics. you have proformed a illegal serach and seizer, this can be beat in the court of law.

You dumbass, stinking rednecks don't even respect each other's rights so shut the hell up about what anybody else is doing. Try doing unto others as you want them to do unto you, control your GD kids and dogs and stop letting your addictions run your lives and then start pointing fingers at normal people. You reek.

I was detained by St. Bernards E.R. last year, it was fun. I waited for the PO-PO and laughed at the security when they were deemed "ignorant" by my bluff call. Btw, they detained me only because I asked to be released...

Sad to say it,,,but you are right,,,i've been in construction all my life and been a slumlord but not by choice trust me,,i tried cleaning that place up but the funds wasn't there and the owner just kept the monies for his own need,, maybe that is why they drive bmw's while your the one calling because the roof leaks and the floor is falling in and so on and such,,

Slumlord's do have the upper hand and there is no law to help you,, sorry,,

The other option is to obey the laws of the land, and assist police officers in any way possible in carrying out the requirements of their jobs.

Most of us choose that one. Because for you folks with open warrants who find ways within the law to avoid capture...I want to quickly comply and be on my way, so that officer that find YOU with the extra time.

As long as Congress doesn't continue to throw away due process in our country, I won't ever begrudge a LEO practicing preventive policing. If we would just decriminalize marijuana, we could free those folks up fivefold, and they could really get down to reducing crimes against persons.

Hey my name is posted above biotch!!!! check it out,,it is clean,,, 10-52,, but i know how to exercise my rights and tired of them being pushy!!!!

how would you like it if they demanded a passenger in your car for I.D. knowing it against the law for them to do so????

let us say maybe you was riding around with a friend and she had forgot to pay a speeding ticket she was riding in the passenger seat and you get pulled over,,would you like to see your friend get handcuffed and go to jail??????? over them pulling illegal I.D.????

myself have nothing to hide however if i'm to obey the law they should obey theirs!!!!!!!

the 4th amendment protects us from illegal searchs and seizers,,,and if you don't think they are doing such watch them on johnson or go read the sign at apartment city and tell me how they are being so pushy!!!!
