You are so quick to find the officers guilty- Does it matter to you that witnesses have stated that the officers were not near the car when he was shot? Will it make a difference to you when tests show that the fingerprints on the gun belong to the deceased? Will it matter to you if gun powder residue is positive on the deceased - but not the officers? Does it matter that audio and dash cam show officers did nothing? Will it matter if forensics prove it was self- inflicted? There is a video on you tube that proves it is possible to do while handcuffed! I seriously doubt ANY of this will change your mind! However, for me I will NOT condem these officers. Is there anything in their background to suggest they are crooked? NO! So for now I will give them the benefit of doubt and wait for the rest of the tests to come back! I am not of a lynch mob mentality that believes just because the suspect (who had drugs on him and outstanding warrants) was black and the officers were white that it had anything to do with race or that the officers were "bad"! They were just doing their job!

Now what he was or wasn't does have bearing on this situation. We are all someones sons & daughters. With that said.... putting yourself in a potential situations in against our legal system isn't honoring that position of being someones child. If anything that's hurting the people that procreated us, right? I understand accidents happen to us all. However, having a stolen gun, lying about ones identity, having an already outstanding warrant from another state, gaining a new crime to be put on record & having drugs.... Well, that's not showing a mother or father respect or love. That's selfish & stupid behavior that screams, "F#9k you, I'm going to do what I want." It goes both ways you know. So we can sit here & say "Aww, this poor family & their loss." Honestly, it sounds like they lost him a long time ago. May sound cold the way I've put it....but, it raw, realistic & to the point. Sorry guys if the truth hurts. I'd say the same thing if he were white.

He should have told himself that before he executed himself.

it doesn't matter because the family is going to file a lawsuit for negligent homicide. if the officers didn't shoot him they might as well have done it. How can you search a person 2 or 3 times and not find a gun? they were negligent on their job and they will pay for it either way. I think the arresting officer ought to go to jail like when a drunk driver runs over someone and kills them. he did not do his job and put the young man in jeopardy by not doing so. negligent homicide is what it is no matter how you look at it.
Just wondering

Typical black idea of personal responsibility, always someone else's fault. LOL

No one put this young man in jeopardy but himself.
If he hadn't been trying to stuff the gun down the seat the gun would have gone off.
Just because the officers didn't find a gun on the young man doesn't make this their fault.
When will people start to make these young men the ones to accept responsibility?

when will these sorry police officers learn how to do their job? I bet if he would have had a small bag of weed they would have found that, because drugs are all they are looking for and he should have shot the sh*t out of them and then what.

what a shock - the man is not even buried yet- but someone already wants a PAYDAY! That mentality is what's wrong with our society! I work hard and pay my taxes - so others who are capable of working sit on their rears feeling as if someone owes them - I know if my child just died- I certainly wouldn't be thinking about suing and thinking about how much money I could make from his death! How very sad!

don't act like it is just the blacks who file a wrongful death lawsuit. If you lose a love one to negligent you have cause to file a lawsuit. this is what the world has come to now. we sue over everything whether we are black, white or Mexican.

Look back at my comment- did I say it was only blacks? No! I said society! Do not put words in my mouth please- because I agree- this mentality is in every ethnic group- including whites! I was just saying if that was MY child - a pay day would be the last thing on my mind at this time!

Daily Horoscope for June 18

Sagittarius

It's a great day for mixing and mingling with people you always get on well with, so try not to keep yourself to yourself too much as that would be a real shame on a day when you're feeling so convivial and friendly. Speaking of friends, you'll enjoy spending time with them now, especially if you share some core values.
