Evidence from this thread overwhelmingly tells me that the people want their weeds. What can we do to legalize it? At least for the sick.. I have signed the petition as well as many others, making it more than enough to put on the ballot in November, but still yet nothing! Now their saying too many signatures are bogus! Seems like it's never going to be reality here in Arkansas. It's so obvious the "people" want it. What/who is holding us back? What can we do?

Arkansas had the best chance out of any state in the country where cannabis is illegal to become legal for the sick, but some how the change was squandered away. If you did not sign the petition, or did sign it knowing your signature is not valid, then you have no right to complain. That is unless there are unseen powers that manipulated the fair process.

Cannabis could be legal here if people really want it to be, but folks just dont have the drive around here that it takes. They dont know what to do so they just complain. You want legal cannabis, put together a team, form a plan, get it done, but you guys wont. Enjoy being slaves in the south!

All of you are retarded. Drugs doesn't make a person dumber, or kill brain cells, or cause addiction. Cigarettes and alcohol are more addictive than weed, and are legal. I can't stand how closed minded people are these days. yes it is important to find a job and if you smoke, either quit long enough to pass or find another job that dosent test. don't you think that if someone is asking this question obviously they plan to better themselves by getting a job and not have a failed UA on their record. BTW ... I have worked at kohls once before about 3 years a ago. I was working part time for POS and on floor sales associate. they never drug tested me. I have recently applied again and since a little time has passed by I am also concerned if they make you take a UA.

I don't smoke marijuana but I think it should be legal... it sounds like a lot of ppl on there against marijuana are just mad they can't smoke...lol. don't hate. Appreciate. And more and more states are legalizing it. Alcohol kills. Marijuana heals.

Wow there's so much idiocy in this place. You all do realize that weed can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months to get out of your system, right? Sometimes you need a job now and can't wait to get clean. And there's things much worse for you than weed. Let's name a few: coffee(caffeine is one of the worse thing for you), soda, aspirin, prescribed medications and many other things. The person who thinks weed only fights anorexia is a dumbass. Weed has been scientifically proven to cure insomnia, fight inflammation and pain, help glaucoma patients, lessen depression and mood swings and a myriad of other things. There's also strong scientific evidence that shows that weed helps cancer patients. Not only with pain, but actually helping the fight against cancer. Notice I said help, not cure. Don't miss quote me here. And this is all with out the terrible side effects of some of the drugs required to help these conditions. And, when you consider things like methadone that are government approved(literally govt approved meth), suddenly government approval seems to hold less weight. Pot doesn't kill brain cells either. That's just stupid. I love when people that don't know shit about pot try to educate other people about. Why don't you learn a little yourself and rise above the ignorance. Not every pot smoker is a junkie loser. Honestly you're all such assholes answering his question I just want to say go suck a dick.
