If this post is any indication of the intelligence of those who chant "the south will rise again" I don't think we have anything to worry about. I usually don't say anything about peoples grammar because everyone makes mistakes but, damn!

Same goes for Hank Jr. who in the hell would take a young kid to his concert during his hey-day and expect it to be like The Grand Ole Opera. I like Toby Keith but I wouldn’t take a little one to his concert and expect Captain Kangaroo . They are entertainers, adult entertainers.

I saw Hank in Jonesboro, Little Rock, Pine Bluff and Memphis and would go again if the opportunity comes along, good entertainment.

To the south will rise again statement, if you drive a foreign car check out where it is manufactured it may say Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, Georgia, or Texas, the south has risen.

Come on man give me something besides the making of foreign cars. This is the south it's all about America, patriotism, the ol' red white and blue down here. Remember we're the region of the country that says **** them foreigners.

Oh and by the way those states you listed with the exception of Georgia and Texas, which can be considered more southwest than south, of course that is subjective, are all in the bottom 10 of America's poorest states. I guess at the end of the day you do make a good point. When your at the bottom there's only one way to go.

The Southwest United States include the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah. Jonesboro has more in common with the Mississippi Delta than it does with the southwest.

You get this excited over a guy that can pick up a guitar and make a living with it. The price of a ticket just gets you a few songs, don't get so upset over the entertainer. Just watch the show and take your lady out to dinner or something, it ain't that big a deal. You could stay home and listen to KBRI its pretty safe.
