Parker Pioneer Homestead will be having their haunted house Oct 23 & 24, and again Oct 30 & 31. On the 31st, they will have a trick-or-treat for the kids from 4p-6p before opening the haunted house at 7pm. They are not in Jonesboro, but they are close enough. They're in Whitehall, just south of Harrisburg on Hwy 1, and in my opinion, it is well worth the drive. Their website says their admission is $5.

The Jonesboro Jaycees have a great house every year and work their selfs to death to get this house up and running in time. All the money goes for a great cause...Goodfellows and Christmas for Kids which all stays right here in our City. If you really want to know what it takes to run a Haunted house come out to the fair grounds any night this month and they will gladley put you to work, and you will have the best time setting it up and then show the public what you have to offer in making a haunted house scarey.

By far Pumpkin Hollow is the best. I can't wait to go and hopefully will next weekend since the full moon is almost gone. Don't like for it to be too bright. You go through Piggott and it's a ways from there, probably takes 45 minutes to an hour to get there.
