Topix could be a place to discuss stocks. What about that company that's going to start selling home self test kits for HIV at stores like Walgreens.
Go ahead and discuss your ideas on here.

OraSure Technologies is up over 3% today on a trading volume 2.12 million which is well above the average trading volume of 614,000 for this stock. Looks like news of this new testing kit is attracting investors even before the kit hits the shelves.

Try Lending Club. It may be more suited to what you want to do.

Not sure how well this will sell. This company is going to face some stiff competition from doctors who offer the test to people and from city health departments who offer the tests to people for free.
The advantages this company has over the competition is the ability for people to privately test themselves in their own place and do it without having to have blood drawn. It's just a simple saliva test.

With a market capitalization of only $137 million there is still plenty of growing room for a company like lending tree and i like that they are not the ones stuck with trying to get their money back from a borrower like a bank is. This company just provides the service of hooking you up with a lender. Still yet the company has been operating at a loss from quarter to quarter and has not been able to squeeze out a profit from their revenues for their services that they provide.

But about Lending Club. Investing on margin (or investing with borrowed money) has always been considered the highest risk play of all since you owe back that money you borrowed or you owe back the shares you borrowed so therefore you had better have a crystal clear crystal ball about the future of where the stock you bought on margin is headed in price.
