I agree with you - our illustrious Congressman Marion Berry voted against FREEDOM! I will work day and night to help a CONSERVATIVE take his job from him. Only, it is not really a done deal - it has to go through the Senate - make sure you call Blanche Lincoln and Pryor and tell them to vote NO on this hellacious bill.

Old Sam, I think we have to double down and call our Senators. Don't be shy. Let them hear you!

We have called. We have written. We have emailed.

We have been ignored.

But we will vote. I just hope this time SOMEBODY runs against them.

Berry said as recently as this past weekend that he was leaning against the bill. I guess Nancy Pelosi got to the SOB. The thing is, he's counting on the majority of the electorate in this district having short memories, failing to pay attention to what he's doing in Washington and voting to re-elect him out of habit.

Oh well, now we'll let the gov pay for our medical bills, and maybe now they will clean up St Bernards from staff infection, and now we will get proper care, and medical decisions...don't you know that our insurance has been deciding where we have our care. I am amazed what fear does to people. Relax and let it happen.

this is not a done deal, yet.
and i agree with some of the posters here about berry and lincoln having to go.
i too have tried to contact these clowns for the past year,to no avail.
berry even had a block on his website! unbelievable.
i wanted these people gone last year, but the people keep putting them right back in.
well, just maybe lincoln will be gone this time next year, and berry too, come his reelection date.
these people have far,far too much power, far more than jefferson envisioned.
well,at least there is one man that is happy, and that is president "obeyme"...
Its all you

If you think government control of health care is the answer, you've obviously never visited a VA hospital or talked with veterans who have to suffer under that substandard-level-of-care system.

No, I haven't. So what do we do? I owe $150,000.00 in medical bills from St Bernards. I noticed that when they thought that I was paying my bills they charged $6000 per treatment. When they found out that Medicare was paying, they charged $26,000 for the same treatment. What's different...substandard (which is a crime to treat our Vet's like that) or owing a rediculous amount and stressing out over not being able to pay bills.

I don't know that even $150,000 is an outlandish amount for cancer treatment. It is just simply expensive no matter who's in charge of the insurance coverage. With all due respect and sympathy, you can't expect to treat cancer cheaply. SOMEONE has to pay for it.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Libra

It's Christmas Eve and you're running around like a scalded cat. However, it will do you no end of good if you can find a few moments here and there for some quiet contemplation. You might want to visit a place that's sacred to you, or take a walk in some beautiful surroundings so you can commune with nature. You need to feel that you're connecting with something bigger than yourself.
