18 years of sucking a glass pipe out weigh any screeching she did in the past. Not everyone likes hearing horns and high pitched wales. Anyone who thinks another should honor someone for their small accomplishments over their entire lifestyle is their own worst enemy. The BTK killer was an upstanding member of the community and a God fearing man with just one flaw. Whitney is no different just her flaws are accepted which is even scarier than BTK could ever be. Harsh truth is still truth, denying it will bring more harm to others.

Anyone who thinks this is a race issue, and not a deeply inborn GENETIC issue, is badly misled.

For some genetic makeups, the very first experience with just the wrong chemical compound, will mean addiction for life.

Yes we are going to die at some point. No doubt. I'm sure her family will miss her very very much. Especially her daughter and her mother. I don't know if she had any other other children besides the one daughter. Poor girl.

It is sorry, she was very good pop and soul vocalist. She was alcohol and drug addicted and she has overdosed pills and alcohol, maybe suicide.
I have even dream, which was very strange, it was nightmare. It was three times at night. I have dreamt that it was a creature in complete darkness, who was dressed in clothes like black coat but completely ragged, it has terrible face if it can be called face and green, shining eyes and it has just Whitney by side. And Whitney was very sorry, depressed, suffering and she was bent. She was sorry for her life and for all these bad things, which she has done badly in her life, but it is not possible to change the past. Only future can be changed.
And I have dreamt about it practically three times. I woke up and it has disepeared. I think that she needs pray if it could help.

lol....this earth is not our forever home. It took me many sessions and co-pays to come to terms with that, and 'get it'.

As far as worrying about 'others' missing you and your 'stuff' when you leave........I have a feeling that you have nothing to worry about there. ;)

I say we all do shots of tequila with cocaine around the rim instead of salt in her memory!

Yeah it's extremely easy to judge the addictions of others, rather than discuss or dwell on those things that YOU are guilty of.

People who escape the drug abuse cloud pretty much do so either because they never tried it, or they weren't genetically predisposed to addiction. The latter was my good fortune.

And the high and mighty judgers love to say how easy it would be for people to "just stop", or go to rehab.

Hmm....have you gone to rehab for your judging, and lack of compassion? I bet you (and especially those around you), have suffered from your addiction since the very first time you got off on "putting somebody in their place".

From then on, judging and looking down on others was in your bloodstream. Without it, you have a critical hole in your life. You wake up thinking about what's wrong with others, and go to bed looking forward to the judgemental day ahead!

So easy to talk about the addictions of others....see? Here's hoping you get some help!(But I'm betting that like Whitney, you use the following excuses:
-It's not hurting anybody
-It's my life and my business
-It relieves my stress
-I'm different. I'm not really addicted. I just enjoy it.)

Go to a meeting.

I'd recommend staying away from fundamentalist congregations, which tend to feed these addictions.
