Shame on you V V student section!

After reading all of the prior comments it amazes me that there has not been one single mention to the fact that one member of the VV Admin that was so frequently complained about was begged to come to Trumann as their Super. This man is the Athletic Director at VV and yet Trumann wanted him? Hmmm, makes a person wonder.
Also, if you check with the Dept. of Ed. you will learn that the VV school system is one of the poorest in the state. This is because VV has little to no businesses that generates tax dollars in it's district. Also, because they have have very few students that qualify for free and reduced lunch even though the average income in the district is not above average but just plain average.
Lastly, it was reported earlier that VV passes Millages frequently, this too is very untrue. It is however true that after 2 attempts a minimal Millage was passed last school year but this was the first in many years. It was also very much needed due to severe overcrowding.
As for the behavior of the students, it is unacceptable but I challenge any complainer to contact the Admin at VV. I trust you will find that students were and are being punished accordingly.

Instead of posting your concerns on Topix, why dont you let your players do their own fighting. If your kid has a problem with the View then win the game. Let the scoreboard do the talking. Quit making 20/20 and get over it. Quit having low test scores and teen pregnancy in your school. Paint your kettle another color if you dont like it being seen as black. VV kids are the way they are because Jonesboro has it in their head that these kids are |"rich" so the snots take it to their advantage. First off, none of them live in houses over $400,000. I grew up in a house just a few cents away from one million. It is quite easy to be rich in a state with record low costs of living. These brats need to be put in their places. their parents make the money; not them! They have nothing to brag about. Not to mention the kids @ VV are incredibly stupid. By ratio, JHS has higher passing numbers, better scoring students. But because it is done by percentage, tiny 'ol VV looks better, when really it is just a bunch of rednecks in nice clothes.

Why don't you Jonesboro or what other dumba school bittcches stfu. All you can do is talk trash about VV on here and say the same thing over and over again about us being rich kids. I guess you assume that I go to or even went to any school here? Well, I didn't. I am a very analytical person, understand that valley view is just as monetarily privledged as most of Jonesboro! Did you not read my comment thoroughly and unbiasedly? Or is your tractor too far up your country a$$?

Just keep on thinking your Magnet Schools will solve your segregation problem. When the Crunch of Wall Street comes down the police will surround our district and your higher percentage will rape and loot. So put on the sweater and sing the JHS fight song Mr Rogers.

That's politics not punishment. Let me hear what punishment they recieved and I'll agree with you. 2 hours out of school to give an apology you don't mean and then laugh and joke about how stupid the whole thing was all the way home is not punishment. Do you honestly think those kids felt even a little bad? Are you kidding me? Their parents have told them it was OK. It has been made pretty clear on here that as far as VV is concerned the problem is cry baby Truman. Let's see how they act at the next game then I'll "get over it".

So do tell...what should their punishment have been? Trumann IS being a bunch of crybabies. No one was physically hurt and there was no vandalism, so what's the problem? This stuff was going on when I was in school 20 years ago. For the record, I was appalled when I heard what they did, but not so much anymore since everyone wants to whine about it
