Candidates with moral values are critical to this country. Integrity must be integral to a man's character. Clearly Obama does not meet this criteria with his anti-life, pro-homosexual values.

I will very proudly be voting for Obama/Biden. I can't imagine anyone of any intelligence and/or compassion NOT voting Democratic after the 8 years of garbage we have had to endure from Bush and his cronies.

I agree that values are important. I disagree, however, with YOUR personal values, which appear to include prejudice and bigotry. Mine include equality and choice for women.

I detest people who assume that those who do not share their uber-rightwing fundie beliefs don't have "values." I certainly do have values, just different ones than yours.

And apparently you are an illiterate (it's "all right" -- "alright" is not a word) Neo-Nazi breeder.

I am proud to be openly gay. As a man, however, I have never had an abortion, nor have I performed one. And even if I had, "babies" are not being killed. Anti-choice advocates like to use that word because of its pathos, but it is incorrect and misleading.

Perhaps because no one wants to be drawn into an argument about abortion. It appears to be a topic that cannot be discussed rationally, and no one ever changes anyone's belief on the subject.

So please correct me if I'm wrong. This would imply that a consensus to define at what point that life begins, has not been reached.

Its amazing to me that someone who can not carry a child feels that they can put forth such ignorant dialect. I believe if you are Gay, this is not of your "their" concern. When it comes to procreating, you should keep your comments about Abortion to yourself. You, or your “spouse” will never endure the pleasure, or pain of a pregnancy. Meaning, that you will never face that choice in life.

Then by your "reasoning," no man should ever have a voice in the abortion debate because no man can carry a child. Actually, I tend to agree with that idea to a degree, as I believe that the final decision should always be made by the woman who is pregnant.

You are revealing your own ignorance, however, when you make statements suggesting that gay people never have children. A significant number of lesbians are mothers and have indeed experienced the "pleasure and pain" of pregnancy. Additionally, an increasing number of gay men are becoming fathers, either through adoption or surrogacy, and know as much about the parenting experience as any heterosexual father.

As long as some people attempt to take away a woman's right to choose, however, I will continue to express my support for safe, legal abortion. As a US citizen, I am concerned about the rights of all -- not merely the rights that affect me directly. Just because I am male doesn't mean I don't support women's rights; just because I am white doesn't mean that I am not outspoken against racism.

The answer to this question is a no brainer.
LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION. To say otherwise defies both science and religious authority. People who brag about being sodomites and child murders aren't the kind of people who are generally open to discuss these types of issues. Guilt ridden they hide behind accusations and false claims. If Obama is elected, he will destroy this country. Mark my words.

<quoted text>
To further educate the Prof. the whole concept that a woman has a 'RIGHT' to kill the infant she is carring is false. This 'right' is not in the constitution, never was and never will be. That's where the problem lies. Unethical judges making decisions from the 'bench' have reeked havoc on the social fabric of this country. Only a non-thinking liberal idiot with a selfish agenda would say that homosexuality and abortion are good for any government. Both are social and moral cancers which will end up killing all the moral values the people have for what is truely the most important thing, and that is human LIFE.

THEAprof is a soul in deep trouble. Since he doesn't respect his own life, it makes sense that he would not respect the life of others and especially that of the innocent un-born. He will probably be very angry when I say this but, he needs many prayers, and I will prayer for his conversion to the truth.

The answer is a no brainer only to those who have no brain.

Science has no definitive answer to that question; to suggest otherwise is an outright lie. Funny how you holier-than-thou types have no problems lying to advance you religious dogma.

LOL...peple like you truly amuse me. On what basis do you conclude that I "don't respect my own life"? I assure you could not be further from the truth. You are also incorrect when you assume that I don't respect the lives of others. It is because I respect others that I am pro-choice; I respect the right of an adult woman to control her own body. I am also quite vocal when it comes to the rights of racial, ethnic, and sexual minorities. You people seem to have NO respect for those who are different from you -- what narrow minds and hearts you have!

Your prayers don't "anger" me -- they amuse me. Go ahead and pray til you are blue in the face. I have a firm grasp of the "truth," however, and it certainly is nothing contained in christian mythology! By the way, every scientific study on the power of prayer has proven that it has no effect. So pray away -- all you do is waste your time.

If you seriously are disputing that life does not begin at conception you are in deep denial of reality. Orthodox religion has always said it. It was science that confirmed that fact. I think maybe you don't have faith in anything but your next erection, and how you determine to satisfy yourself. Oh don't get HIV or AIDs, person of such great wisdom and moral certainty.

You apparently are the one who is confused. I am gay, not a transsexual. Deluded? Sorry, but I don't think so. If you consider me to be deluded because I don't buy into the precepts of an irrational, unproven religion, then YOU are the one who is delusion.

Angry -- I'll admit to that one. I'm angry that the GLBT community still has to fight to be treated as equal citizens in a nation that promises "liberty and justice for ALL." I am angry that 8 years under our current inept president have resulted in our involvement in a pointless and wasteful war, an economy in ruins, and a tarnishing of our international reputation. Who wouldn't be angry? If you aren't angry -- given our present social, economic, and political situation -- then you have to be on some serious drugs!
