Tickets Way Up In April and 2012

Gee, the April of this year is 20% higher than last year.

2012 is 26% higher than last year.

Just think, at $120-$500 a pop how much the village is raking in.

If every April ticket was just for just doing a few MPH over the limit, the town now has $14,880 more bucks than a year ago. Do that over a year and that's alot of money.

If they were all biggies like in the construction zone ($375 state +$125 local fine =$500), that'd bring in a maximum of $60,000 in one little old month. Do that over a year and you're talking REAL money.

Who said crime doesn't pay FOR THE VILLAGE?

Saw a cop going thru a school zone while the lights were flashing last week and he was nowhere near 20mph. Do as they say, not as they do.

Not the cops lights, the school zone lights. The cops lights were not on.

I don't even drive through new lenox anymore. They have nothing better to do with their time! I've seen them sneaking around rt.30. If ya don't wanna get pulled over at random stay out of new lenox!!!
