This company is bad for the elevator business.
John Thompson Sr. used to be a good elevator guy. His kid John Jr. couldn't handle working on elevators so he inspects them. He'll drive that company in the ground. |

It's called kick backs. These guys are all about the money. |

If your a city official or a company owner, this company always has their hand out. If they can't get it legally they'll do reinspections to make (extort) more money.

Thompson Elevator inspection was getting kick backs from Anchor Elevator for getting them jobs in the suburbs. They are extorting $$$ from villages, condos, apartments and elevator companies. They are the head of the organized extortion in the elevator trade. It's a shame no one reports this to the authorities.

Hey guys there's foul balls everywhere. We've had them in local 2 for as long as I can remember. A lot of injuries to the public were due to unqualified mechanics. It's a shame what happened to the kid but Thompson is really not to blame. Just a bad apple and they are in all walks of life. Thompson's inspectors are a very smart group of guys who carry out their jobs with extreme professionalism. Don't put them down. If there are any doubters out there, try to take the test and become QEI. |
