Thompson Elevator Inspection

This is the company that is responsible for the injury of the 2 year old falling down the elevator shaft. If the inspectors did their job that boy wouldn't have gotten hurt on the elevator.
Roy Zeder and Brad Stewart give elevator constructors and elevator inspectors a bad name.
John Thompson Jr. isn't much better. He's a spoiled child that has NEVER worked on elevators and he's doing the inspections?

Does he know what he's doing?
Do you feel safe now?

Boy oh Boy, what is the Firemarshall doing about this company.

I looked at the minutes of the elevator division for the fire marshall office and I could see that Thompson elevator inspection has been caught 4 times, their inspectors were caught not doing the proper inspections

What is the fire marshall doing about this ? Has anyone contacted the states attorney over this ?

Why are they not in jail ?

Someone should do something about this company before someone gets killed by their lack of skill in doing inspections. If this is not the time they did something wrong, why are they still allowed to do inspections in this state or any Other state.

Hear Thompson is in court again. Lucky for them they got a lawyer in the family to handle all their legal problems. Boy is he going to be busy!
Hope it's not al Pro Bono! They have a lot of money. They have been stealing from municipalities for years now!

These people are being paid to insure the elevators are working correctly and are up to code? I believe our building department should look into finding someone else with more experience in such a thing rather than them. It's a shame a 2 year old got hurt.

Be carefull of the Thompson empire, the have great political pull.

1 inspector had his license revoked from the Fire Marshall office, he worked for Thompson.

Extortion is their game.
Inspectors there are asked to make re-inspections to generate more revenue for the company.
Question all their violation reports.
They get paid 2 or 3 times for 1 inspection.

Yeah, someone should call Pam Zekman then we can watch Johnny try & run from her while she chased him with a microphone. A huge red-headed guy running from a woman who's 5'2". I'd make the call just to see that video get aired on T.V.

How could any company have hired a inspector like this, I could tell if it was my child that went down the hoistway, that inspector would not have to worry about losing his license or even going to jail, I would take care of him myself, he must be a real Idiot.

Listen I am a elevator inspector and not all inspectors are bad guys, they can push people around and company's because we pull alot of weight, we could make heavy problems for the building owner, elevator company or the elevator mechanic's but most inspectors don't.
I have heard alot of bad press on the Thompson family and they do have a powerfull attorney at Querry and Harrow that is related to them and I have been to dinner several times with them and they seem to me that their nice people and yes they did buy.
So, they made a mistake by hiring Brad and yes he probably was rushed doing his job as a inspector at 12.00 dollars a stop but he was stupid enough to agree to the price and the job.

This Thompson elevator company has had alot of problems with the Fire Marshall office.
Everyone needs to look at the Fire Marshalls web-site, under elevator division and you can look up the old minutes to see what the Thompson family has been up too.

I heard that the thompson had another problem before in Joliet.
