Speed traps in Plainfield

I'd rather they "serve and collect" if they are doing something about idiots who drive their Pontiacs like they are qualifying for a NASCAR race. People who speed should be ticketed. What do you suggest the cops do with their time? We don't have any real issues in this town.

they sit in the field (in the grass)behind Plainfield north highschool! on the east side of james st, between the tennis courts, and the track! they even have a convenient little spot on the west side of james along the river with gravel so they can pull you over.
they need to stop sitting there with their fingers in their doghnut holes and respond to calls like they are needed. last summer we had a bunch of wannabe gangbangers driving around in their moms minivan threatening to beat up our 4-8year olds in front of our house and it took them a half hour to get to my house!!!!! come on get with the program!!!!!!! this summer some one burnt the playground in our subivision up and it has been like that for at least a month. what are we paying taxes for?

dont you know.. plainfield police cant handle crimes like that. they are more concerned about setting up speed traps, lurking in neighborhood looking for vehicle sticker violations, and chalking tires in deadtown. .ahh downtown area.. Thank god Plainfield doesnt have a Kwikie mart.. they would be there all day, making sure no one steals the donuts.

heres an idea pay the money for the village sticker, stop speeding, and you wont be bothered ......that was pretty hard.....oh ya and if you dont like the police or dont think they do anything then dont call the police then when the crime is happening to you ....oh wait thats when you like them ...my fault

The speed trap going south on 59 is just for revenue and nothing to do with safety..A car cut me off and turned in front of the police that was running radar so when I went into the other lane the police said he clocked me at 46 mph in a 30 mph zone .... How was that possible in a car that bogs down and back fires when the gas pedal is pushed down. The police told me that he did not see the car because he was watching me...
