GET some knowledge. The. ASSESSOR of our town is NOT doing his job. ESPECIALLY working remotely from Vegas for six months out of the year.

the police will be back out ticketing again. School is in session again so they don't have to chase after all the vandalizing punks. The can start by picketing the blue car on Shannon that is parked in the street all night. Clearly some fool that thinks he can do what he wants.

call it in to police chief Becker will take care of it. Opps I keep forgetting, she is just a clerk with an inflated self worth. But call her anyway, it's one thing she is good at.

Next election won't change anything, Borgo and Gibson have it to jacked up. you would have to be out of your mind. This town is screwed. It will soon be the town of foreclosers. Gibson can't make up here mind what to do if she doesn't have all her puppet's and yes people. Holford on the other hand at least does something like writting tickets his full shift. Someone you know most have got caught. Good

Anyone see the Hunger Games movie? I haven't read the book and don't plan to. So far half the people I ask say it's great and it stays true to the book, while the other half says it's just a cheap way to get people into a theater to watch teenagers kill each other. What about you guys?

<quoted text>The Village Administration and Village Board sure have NO PROBLEM throwing around the peoples' money - wouldn't you agree? Now that is two police chiefs (babk 2 back) getting too much pay. And when will this fellow be purchasing a house in town to help soak up some of the taxation?
Why your Village Administrator doen't live in town. She makes more than two chiefs together. Hpoefully the next election can help.

Your numbers are slightly off. Conniption Fitz made $98,000 a year to "supervise" 9 full time officers. And actually, was little if any supervision. The idiots that needed discipline were allowed to operate with impunity and the decent officers were constantly threatened with discipline for not toeing his line, which seemed to fluctuate like the tide. Thank God he's gone. In like a lion and out like a lamb too. He left nothing to be proud of and the dept. is worse off now than ever. That's what you get when your leadership style is one of 'divide and conquer' and you reward and value loyalty to yourself over competency. He was a completely uselss chief and will not be missed. Hopefully the new guy recognizes the idiots and doesn't play the Barker-Fitz favorites game. We'll see. Fitz, happy trails you pompous, arrogant, self centered a$$. EPIC FAIL on your part.
Forgot to mention Fitz will be collecting 2 pensions. One from us and one from Joliet Police Dept.
