Aldis: where hygiene and grooming are always optional. That store is pretty much a food pantry and the shoppers there all look like welfare trash.

Mr.Pimpson, shame on you!!Why would you say such a thing.I go there to shop and save a few bucks. It is no big deal to bag your own groceries.I wear jeans and a sweatshirt and nobody cares or judges me.It doesn't matter what you wear as long as you don't smell!!I am not on welfare, thank God,but some people need assistance.Remember one thing, you might need help some day and I pray no one calls you welfare trash!!Next time you go to Aldi's give your cart with the quarter still in it to someone and say"do something kind for someone today".Love is contagious AND SO IS HATE!!! God Bless You!!

Wow and I thought we Brits were snobs...
We have Aldi over here in the UK and I use one occasionally. I have found a lot of their own brand stuff to be of exceptionally high quality (a high German standard). Sure, compared to the polish of the likes of Wal Mart they come across as a little odd, piling up boxes and selling it cheap, but put away your claws and try Aldi out

Welfare is breeding children when you can't feed them; it's filth because of laziness; it's ignorance passed from one generation to the next. And, don't you dare 'god bless me' either.

The great thing about shopping at Aldi is that you country club wannabe, self righteous, bag-my-groceries-for-me spoiled frat boys won't be there, and I can shop in peace.
