More ignorance void of the Scriptures. A true church accepts sinners not those who willfully practice sinning and abomination while calling the Lord's Word a lie and taking pride in thier wickedness expecting others to deny the Lord and join thier abomination before the Lord.

This is a wonderful story and an ideal test case. I pray that it works. We do need to have more deacons and priests serving the same function as the old 'circuit riders'.

From the article:

The bishop said he wants to see firsthand how the redevelopment works before it's done in any of the diocese's other churches. The 34 congregations, spread among 13 counties, have a total of about 4,700 Episcopalians.

"It's an aging diocese, and it's been in decline for more than 20 years," Sean Rowe said.

"We're hoping to reverse that trend, and we believe it's possible."

He said he decided to start with St. Mark's because it was a congregation in a time of transition and, at 4701 Old French Road, is in a good location. St. Mark's also has a strong lay leadership and a desire to grow, he said.

"These are good people with a history of being willing to embrace people and change," Sean Rowe said.

One of them, member Jean Allue, 87, said she's excited about the activity at St. Mark's and glad to see young people willing to carry on the work.

"I feel really good about what's happening," she said. "I think we're really going to succeed."

Great story for a thread topic, Sel.

It triumphs the rebirth of a youthful Spirit in TEC.

We are going to see this happen all over the place, in many Episcopal Dioceses and wherever our Church has established a presence.

It's a shame that you are such a LIAR!. The New Testament and the GOSPEL are both read in EVERY SERVICE EVER HELD. Most every sermon is on the Gospel reading.

Joe, True Son of the Church of Rome, don’t confuse a Papal Encyclical to the Gospels.

We all know that the head of your church can’t speak without error but really even he has to take into account the words claimed to have been spoken by Christ Jesus once in awhile.
