FORT PLAIN What a Joke

I lived in fort plain years ago,I am now 50 yrs. old. I have moved away 25 years ago and drive thru there and can"t believe what a run down shithole it has turned into. Nothing changes all you have there is Welfare and run down houses that are up for for Back Taxes. Fort Plain is the welfare capital. I drive thru and laugh my ass off. All you people that live there just move out if you can because it is not going to change. I am glad I moved a long time ago.

Hello Duckmaster,this is earth welcome back to the place we call home.Welfare is everywhere you go,it is not just in Fort Plain.As far as Fort Plain being run down I guess that would determine what part of fort plain you have come thru.You Speak like a 20 year old and not a 50 year old as most 50 year old's don't refer to fort plain as the welfare capitol shithole.Those same 50 year old 's try to tell the world what fort plain used to be like rather than referring to it as a DUMP.Grow up,and try being nice.I can tell you alot of things about fort plain that are nice things.Little Villages will never be the same as it was 25,50,100 years ago.

Take a trip to St.Johnsville and tell me what you think.Take a nice slow trip down good ol main street.When you get to where Kretser's video was tell me what you see,if you want a village that looks like a dump then St.Johnsville is the place.If they are going to tear down a building then take the whole damn thing,don't leave the front of it with windows still in it.It looks like shit.

You can say what you want about Fort Plain but remember this tardies- the beer is cold, the toilets work most of the time, and we got cable tv.

I bet after living in Fort Plain years ago you are shocked to drive through and see that it is indeed a shithole. However, I'm sorry that your want to "laugh your ass off". I would be so sad to see my hometown being so run down, running off welfare. However, we have a great school system, beautiful countryside and a lot of positive to be proud of. Yes, I agree FP is a dump and needs to be cleaned up, but complaining and bitching about it isn't go to change it. It will take a lot of positive input and caring, knowledgable folks getting involved before positive change can happen. You trashin the village won't help, how about comin and givin a hand to make your hometown what it use to be.

Whaddya talkin about. All I said was the beer is cold and the toilets work most of the time. I didn't say nuttin about how friggin fat the broads are or how they get their money from the Gummint because they are too fat and lame to get a job. All that's fine with me as long as I don't have to listen to them going to the toilet in the morning. There's nuttin wrong with Fort Plain that a broom, a paintbrush, a good diet plan and a thousand good jobs wouldn't fix. So there ya old crotch crabs.

I think you will find that New York State is a welfare town. What the politicians should do is knock the property taxes down across the board so that the private sector has a chance of starting businesses. We will always be on welfare and high taxes if it is the best thing, only choice, and only game in town.
