I would say the best food is New York Pizzeria even though I still call it Frank's. Last time I ordered fries with gravy from Suzie's they gave me a small cup of gravy for my fries and it was cold which turned me off from going there again.

I know the owners of Franks very good. he has a younger son i hanged with . they are the best in the county. I used to live in Ft. Plain was a good lil town to bring up kids but i now hear all this sad and mean things about it i am not coming back lol.

LMFAO Hilarious!!! Frank's is awesome but pricey and they are hardly ever open. Also I have never gone to suzie's deli because I am turned off by the people who hang out in front of it. They make me lose my appetite. If you want people to come into your business at least make it welcoming.

I would have to agree on most of what you said,they are rarely open as Mario seems to take more days of than Frank when he owned it.I have gone to suzie's for the ice cream only as I too don't want to sit there and eat a meal with the certain few that hang in front of it.I also heard that suzie's was moving to Johnstown or something like that,any truth to that rumor???

suzie's is trying to keep her business in Fort Plain, but with the rising taxes she is finding it very hard too. The people who sit out front do need to find another place to sit, but that should deter you from going inside as the prices and quality of their products are by far the best in the town. I personlly haven't had their pizza so I can't comment on that but they have subs made on homemade bread with cut to order meats that are out of this world.

There is a lady in Fort Plain that makes awesome cheesecakes. She doesn't have a real business but does sell them around the holidays. I had a list of her cheesecakes once but lost it. I don't even remember her name. It may be Maggie or Mandy. I just remember her cheesecakes were the best I have ever tasted and would like to find her. Does anyone know who I am talking about?
