How did the girls do tonight?

to bad they didnt have a real coach 45 min practice in 2 days. that team was handed to school coaches alot of people put alot of work into them girls with no credit given just school coaches they had a good run going

who trying to take from girls. they were outskilled on wed. The girls worked there butts of The werent prepared for a team that skilled thats all its nice to see another sport besides baseball do well

In most cases when a parent thinks a coach sucks, it's because their own kid sucks, but they take it out on the coach. After all don't parents know everything? Great season ladies. You had a great run. Enjoy it!

im just saying for a big game should be practiceing more than 45 min in 2 days if it was coach Phillips they would be prepared and have a long practice thats why his baseball teams are so good he spends alot of time with the boys

Great Job girls you did good, just the stupid school board almost didnt let you go because of your record but record dont mean nothing it is a new season. I have no kids in school and the coach does suck. Looser......

Yes he does,yelling and screaming at them untill they are so sick they really don't even want to play.This i know for sure.i played for him(years ago,he called me the best,i wonder).he is a good coach but less screaming and making examples of kids and a litle more coaching.The things that would come out of his mouth were not neccesary.He wanted to win win win and that was the end of it.Sometimes, it's all about playing the game and enjoying yourselves while doing it.This is how some kids get all high and mighty and think they are gods gift to sports.When in fact,they don't know the first thing about playing the game or sportsmanship.Phillips doesn't teach you any of that.

In referance to the 45 mins of practice in 2 days lets not forget that soccer sectionals are played in November not June - It's freak'n cold this time of year and it gets dark earlier. Also, those s were beat up and needed a bit of a break. They may not of had long physical practices, but you can bet they talked strategy and game tactics which in many ways is more important. Why does it have to be the coaches fault? Why must we compare one coach with another - they are two different sports and to compare the two is crazy. Could it just be that Cambridge, who had an easy run in sectionals, was better rested and quite possibly just a better all around team? Do we forget that our s have had two games go into at least double overtime in the last two weeks and that they might have run out of steam. Do we forget that the teams best player was injured leading up to the game? The s had a great run...so stop deminishing it!

well about coaching this team did lose to many games to he got to them i know it not all his fault but you have to push the girls to play more. and about the best player being hurt i disagree on that she is the leading scorer but she didnt dribble down the field by her self if it wasnt for teammates she wouldnt have half the goals she had alot of balls handed to her and she is the faster player around here and they did have a great run but you have practice more than 45 min on tuesday before the game and nothing monday. the coach should tell the people who got these girls all the exposer to soccer when they were younger thank you for the help. if i knew who it was for sure i would walk up to them and say thank you

What's your beef with coaches? Give me a freaking break. You can't make chicken soup out of chicken shit. The soccer coach did what he had to do. Each coach has their own philosophy on how to win. His best player was injured and Cambridge may win the states. How can anyone on here bring up phillips' name? He's a legend. Boy are people stupid.

all i can say i remember playing the fort plain girls in tournys and say to coach i heard how good they are to please take it easy on us as we are a young team. they were one of the best passing team at u 14 age they were beating all boys team so what happen to them they should have won more
