Yeah for the fort plain police dept and undersheiff Jeff Smith. We got 9 people on this raid, because the tenth one does not count, because she does not do the drugs, and she was still given a ticket because she would not nark out anybody. Bunch of crap lets get the harder drugs off the street. There is so much meth and coke out there, but we will let that drug go and only nail one at a time for that. BULLSHIT.They need to focus on the drugs that do more harm to people like the meth and coke. They say they did a 3 month investigation on these people, so were are the rest of the people tht were buying these drugs? Oh wait they are the ones probably ratten everybody out.I think they need to focus a little harder on the heavier drugs.I am against all drugs, but pot is really not as bad as the rest. They need to get the bigger people get that shit off the streets.

How about our own police chief who doesn't even have a driver's license because of a prior DWI,yet just the other day he drove a police car to the town of Minden Court room.If that had been me or you we would be back behind bars, would we not? Or how 2 off duty cops assaulted someone walking thier friend home drunk from a bar and then charged the person they beat up for resisting arrest and assault on a police officer.Crooked?Nah not Fort Plain

i am disgusted and angry that people think that this is going to solve montgomery countys drug problems what about the crack dealers or the meth addicts that are supplying our kids with the hard core drugs.yes marijuana is a drug but when have you ever heard of someone dieing from driving and smoking pot NEVER.why not go the stores or barooms that are supplying our kids with alcohol that trully is killing them.we need to look at the bigger picture here and the police need to step up and start getting the ones that really matter.especially when some of the people accused are trully innocent and being falsly accused for something they have never done....

I think half of the people sending in these comments ought to go back to school and learn how to spell. You must all be related.

I am not a scumbag, and I don't do drugs. My point is that they should focus on the harder drugs that are out there. There is no reason for these comments to be nasty. I was just saying. We all know that a drug is a drug, but lets get the harder ones off the streets.

Maybe they are "truly" innocent and have never smoked the stuff. BUT it was found in the same apartment that young children are living, IS that acceptable? There is no excuse for that...If you want to raise your children then act like a responsible adult.

I agree with you as well. Seems like these people may have been sampling some illegal substance as well when you try to read their posts. As for "what can I say".....the Chief does have a drivers license. This rumor has been floating around for years. If you believe it then I suggest you contact the District Attorney and file a complaint. Then we will see.

It's easy to criticize someone's job performance from afar but until you have actually walked a mile in that person's shoes, all our opinions are just that....opinions. Aren't we blessed to live in a country where we can express them.

It's easy to grin when your ship comes in and you've got the stockmarket beat, but the man worthwhile, is one who can smile when his shorts are too tight in the seat.

All Police are governed by the same rules. There is no way that the Chief of Police can drive around in a Police car without a license, the State sees to that. As for the two off duty cops, a felony was committed. The "drunk" and his friend damaged a vehicle when leaving the bar, and when the two officers tried to stop them, they faught. A police officer is on duty 24hrs a day. If a felony is committed, they do have arrest powers. If your vehicle was damaged by some drunk turd, would you want a police officer to step in?..... of course you would.

i agree all drugs should be kept away from kids. But in the same aspect everyday parents drink in front of the children most to the point of drunkeness...They pass out, puke and many times it turns violent, what have we done to stop this from happening in front of our kids ....NOTHING...why because its legal so that makes it ok to subject our kids to that...RIGHT...If there is one thing i do know our laws need to drasticly change to protect our kids from all drugs not just the illegal ones......
