Michael Moller ( The Tile Guy ) Ripping people off !!!

nortel777 N. Smithfield, Rhode Island USA Ripoff Report Verified Safe I hired Michael Moller to do a complete bathroom rip out of the old mud and steel mesh walls. It was to include all new plumbing from the second floor to the basement. Install all new blue board walls and ceiling and plaster. He was to provide the tile for the walls and floor with installation and provide the specific fixtures I had chosen for the tub, sink and toilet. I gave him a deposit of $2000. He came back in 2 days to go over the work again. I added additional work and gave him another check for 2775.00. He called me 2 days later with a strange request. He told me this story about how he got a large tile job in Newport, RI and decided to go in partners with someone else. He ordered the materials and his partners check bounced. If he could not come up with the money needed to pay for the materials, he would lose out on the job which was worth $26,000. And still have to pay the re-stocking fees. He said he spoke with his lawyer, and that if I payed the balance of my job, he could offer me a $4000 rebate within 10 days of my jobs completion. I agreed and gave him the balance so the job was paid in full. Long story short, he did the bathroom rip out and the plumber plumbed new plumbing to the basement. I met with the carpenter who was scheduled to start work on Tuesday. That morning,Mike called me and asked me for a favor. He said he did not have the money to pay for the sheet rock. And if I could pay for it until he check cleared at the end of the week. I told him I was paid and full and would not. I haven't seen him since. I have been without a bathroom for over 3 weeks. I have had to hire another carpenter to finish the work. I still have to buy my fixtures and hire a tile man to tile the room. And a plumber to install the fixtures. This man never paid the plumber for the work he did and is very angry! And I am out $8775.00. He should be put in jail. What a joke , they ran continental mover's into the ground using the business to steal $$$$. conned us out of $130,000 that we borrowed from the bank, it's a 15 year loan that they promised to pay. then ripped off an elderly woman for $20,000. they also ripped off several landlords. maybe these assholes should write a book. looking forward to reading chapter 11,. tell george he'll be in the new's soon.

I am very sorry to this consumer I had a lot of money time aand effort tied in a project with a customer who did not pay and there for put myself near bankrupt I am doing my very best to restructure my situation I never meant for this to happen If I had intended on ripping this consumer off No work no plumber or carpenter would have ever shown up. It is my intention to compensate this consumer for the cost to finish the project. In this economy many businesses are struggling I am no different then a store or business in this world but there is no bailout for me so I will do my best to bail myself out and make this right. The hearing is at in Providence RI at 9am at the state house. I am also pursuing this with the MA General Attorneys office. The state of RI is planning on bringing criminal charges against him since part of the deposit was for materials never delivered. I only lost 1000 but will spend much more than that to stop this thief. He was given every opportunity to make the situation right and even lied about his intensions on that front.

Michael will lay down a big load of crap till he can get you to believe him and trust him. In the end it's just to get your money or shut you up, he alway's has an agenda. Read about sociapathic behavior, Michael fit's the pattern. He care's about nothing but getting money no matter how. Well the RI contractors board ruled in my favor and against Michael Moller. (I would encourage anyone who was taken by Mr. Moller in RI to contact the Contractors board in Providence RI) Moller was a no show which was stupid on his part. He was served by the State of RI with a fine and will be served again. He will be required to pay the fine and the full amount he stole from me which I dont believe he will. He will then be served again and a warrant issued for his arrest. I am also pursuing criminal charges and now in contact with the MA Attorney's general office. The funny thing is this he is not too bright. He could have made this go away for a small amount of money. Well it isnt about the money any longer Mr. Moller if you havent figured that out. Now you will be someones girlfriend at the ACI when they pick you up on the warrant. Your best option is they get you before someone else does. Have a nice day.
