I do see it as an okay thing for a 18 and a 16 year old to be together I do not discriminate base on age in most matters when it comes to relationships because some young people are mature citizens-not most- i really judge men and women-boy and girl interaction based on its contents, if the right or good or moral intent is presented that relationship has my respect-

your right that isn't a huge age difference, but it is a difference, as a guy I can not relate to you so much and I don't expect you to understand this- there is a difference, in just one year from the next some girl out there is going to start having her period-that change alone changes the way she views herself-that alone limits what she can and can't do- she can't go swimming at that particular time, some girls may start taking midol (medication for menstrual periods) during this time due to physical pain that comes with "mother nature" plus really soon in a period of months she might grow "bigger on the chest"- a year counts in a female's world, by 50 years old- menopause for us females, what do you guys have to not look forward to? a few years counts. by 20 your still not allowed to drink, even a few days from your turning 21 you can't drink.

I am so sorry to offend you- I am not hating on men, I am scared for all females because we usually look at the world through different eyes than you guys, females i believe gets hurt a lot by men and I think that 16 year old girls are too young to be dealing with grown up issues- there is a few more years for them to enjoy being a "child" before getting their hearts broken or their egos or self worth to be put out there- take your clothes off for money? how sick is that-i would be upset too if young guys were placing their bodies out there to be viewed by a lot of women, young and old grannies, looking for money- it sickens me- but I do not see that all men are petifiles, I enjoyed being 16 without men's attentions on me for sexual release- for a female it matters to us who we have sex or whom send sexual attentions to us, its a male's perception that is different from our view- I speak for my own gender not to offend but to expose the unfairness- age matters sometimes, a year does make a difference, a 16 and an 18 year old body can be spotted differently-a 10 year old does look different at 12, a 3 year old does look different at 5, a few month old is different at 1 years old- many changes does takes place in months.

Not all 16 year olds are the same, some are more mature than most and even are more mature than some adults therefore, those girls may even marry at that age, and i wouldn't judge that, but stripping i don't think most females should be doing unless they love it and choose it as a profession-just for the love of it and not for money- if i asked you to strip for a few dollars would you? most people wouldn't sell themselves for money- its not our nature to give something that has so much emotional baggage tied into it-

so, yes an 18 year old guy is not a petifile, and a 16 year old girl isn't brain dead, they know what they are doing, but if they had more experiences, years, they would know more than they knew at 16 and are much better at making strong decisions on issues that will and can affect them in their future-that is what infuriates me, its the experiences and the knowledge of so much that most of them do not have that frees them to be a mature, more in control and less under influence- i wonder if their strong enough to live like that with so much people ready to call them everything under the sun to hurt and destroy them, men saying "why not have sex with me- your practically having it with every men out there" that hurts me as a female to think of what stripping could lead to for them in relations to their relationships with men in their lives from school, at home, to work..

I respect your opinions and knowledge, you seem like a smart person and i hope for you to understand my point, because i do get yours even if its not apparent.

well I believe this law is contradicting itself..but I do know RI has the second highest percentage on unemployment rate and unfortunately some of the choices these young women are going to make is to strip. The facts of life there is nothing we can do to change it because as a group but as individuals we can probably make a difference by not turning our backs and just writing about like i am right now. If you believe is immoral do something about it.

First of all Laura plz don't insult the military you obviously don't know what happens in the sandbox aka Iraq to judge someone by saying that. Second, I do agree with you on the and I don't know what is wrong with people to actually believe this is right. I do believe RI is very corrupted to let this happened but, that's the sacrifices we pay for freedom. Choices we make everyday reflect on other people doesn't matter the age group. Before laws there was just words, thoughts, emotions, ect.... this country is having one of the toughest experiences of its time specially RI and it affects everyone. This and i am sorry to say this, is just a sideline problem that know one really wants to or will do nothing about. And that's because the females that strip in RI are not females that have parents with power or money to actually do anything about it. These are mostly you women with no help behind them to get them out that situation. Do you know how many people have money in RI and is still the second highest percentage an unemployment rate is unfair. The strong will survive that's the fact of life and because these young women don't have anyone to be strong for them they have to be and sometimes it requires doing things like this.

i think it great, iy gives a chance for a young women to express her sexuality and more important make that money. plus its just amazing to see a 16 year naked body dancing on stage in high heels
