Just wondering, who decided that Obama wants homosexuals in the armed services? I have heard no opinion by the president either way on the subject. Can someone please provide some factual information as to how they came to this conclusion?

It was on news channel 11 yesterday, I also heard it.

Now, you mean to tell me Obama just came right out and said, "I want queers in the military"? Maybe the talking heads (aka: news analyst) put their spin on it, it was taken out of context, or it never even was said. I want to hear absolute positive proof,not "I heard it from..........". It's a damned shame so much bogus information is concocted and then falsely spoon fed to the ignorant public. Our president has more important issues than this to tend to.

There are already gays serving in the military you fools. Tell ya what though, next time one of your sons or daughters come back from a tour of duty alive because they had their life saved by a gay soldier you just tell them they're dead to you and that they should go away because you don't believe in gays serving in the military. Or you other idiots, you tell your freinds when they get back you think they suck and they need to go live in shame because they fought along side some gay dude so you could sit here enjoying the freedom to let that igrnorant sh*t fly out of your mouth via your computer. Homosexuality is not contagious, but ignorance and fear are.

I have to agree with OMG and Independent.
Who cares what sex, race, or orientation someone is especially if that person is willing to take up arms and risk their life to defend our country and the people that inhabit it including you homophobes and bible thumpers. They deserve nothing less than our thanks, tolerance, and respect.
As a nation we tolerate human rights violations by other countries because we want to buy their exports just to make our lives a little easier yet you people can't extend that same tolerance to our own citizens who hurt no one and are willing to lay their life on the line to protect the rest of us and make our lives possible.

A Gay military force would be better organized and have no pregnancies. The Lesbian military would certainly have less rapes and both would be more self disciplined than the one we have now. You do know that most countries over seas ask us to remove our military bases from their countries because they are sick and tired of the straight men raping their wives and daughters. Do you know they have to keep the morning after pill on all military bases now because the rate of pregnancy is so high?
