I need to know who is responsible for this situation of the power. Thusly my food has been ruined and my NBA championship game wasted.

The Broome County Bar Association could help. You should try to make the landlord pay.

Anna, you are a moron beyond belief! What in the hell does the landlord have to do with an area power outage? I hope D does go to the Bar Assoc - they could use the laugh!

Donawah needs to check with his/her homeowners/renters insurance. There may be coverage there depending on the policy.

As somebody who has been directly impacted by the power outage in Washington, let me respond. A freak storm hit with 80mph winds that downed trees and powerlines over a wide, densly populated area. What did you expect to happen, that everybody would have their power restored within 12 hours? The enormity of the work is apparent to those of us who live here. Crews from around the country are working around the clock to restore power.

I have lost a refrigerator and freezer full of food while my power was out for 2 days. It was terribly uncomfortable with the near 100 deg heat, but we survived. I have no reason to sue anybody. Live dealt us a blow and we move on. What is it with you that you're ready to sue because you were inconvienced so much as to miss a televised sporting event.

Our ancestors tamed a continent and faced hardships and uncertainties that based on our current nerf lifestyle, would reduce our current population to jelly.

Buck up and quit your bitchin'
