In a park in the center of Carbondale PA there stands a large plaque honoring those who gave their lives in past wars. I remember a photo taken at the end of WW2 of my Mother, Aunt and a little boy (me) standing in from of the Monument at the end of WW2.
As a senior citizen I have lived my adult life in California, I know good and not so good Mexicans. I know there goal and they don’t hide the fact that they want to take back the Southwest, because they believe it was stolen from them.
This past September I revisited Carbondale the home of my family, I walked my dog in the park and stopped to read the town monument, there was NOT one Mexican name. The Mexicans did not go into the coal mines like my family did, they have no right to my old home town, and they can have California they are already at 50% I don’t know what they will do once they are the majority, there elected Los Angeles Mayor of one year lost his job because of adultery.
So have at it Mexicans, make many many babies dance your dance to loud music eat your beans write your gang names on the beautiful walls of building in my town, I give up I’m moving to Idaho and will take up the fight from there. Good luck Carbondale fight now or forever loose you town, schools and pride.

Why not ask the Mexicans in New York, they can tell you where ther are. I spoke with the locals they confermed that the Mexicans are coming to Carbondale. When where you last in Carbondale. Besides one Mexican is one to many.

I am in Carbondale every weekend.
I make big bucks in New York, and buy property in Carbondale for cash. I get a nice return on my investment. I don't see any Mexicans there.
Would love to find some to put to work for me.
I have a hard time finding people in Carbondale that want to work, they say they want to work, but they come late, hung over, don't show up, do crappy work, and take a smoke break every 5 minutes.
They also keep asking for cash advances.

You sir are reading fiction books, any investment in Carbondale is a looser. You are the type the support Mexicans because you are to dam cheep to pay a living wage. Having growen up in Carbondale Mexicans did not work the coal mines, run the trains, and tend the farm land. I was visiting in Carbondale from California last mont 1/3 of downtown is gone and the rest is falling down. My last question to you is why would any investor pay cash for property. If you want cheap labour come to California the Mexicans will dig ditches all day for $25.00 the down side is you may be able to buy a chicken coup for cash and that would be without chickens.

You just need to pay better. Shit wages, shit work. I'm a contractor that moved here from California to be near my aging extended family, Mexicans no longer are the hard workers they used to be since Proposition 187 passed 10 years or so ago, things have changed. But they did run down construction wages. Stay in NY, we don't need more absentee slumlords that won't pay a fair price for repairs.

The residents of Garbagedale should be happy that us nice folks from NY are investing out there.
Without us, Garbagedale would just continue to decompose. It would eventually turn into another Centralia. Look in the Newspaper and you will see the only people buying houses in Garbagedale are from NY and NJ.

Most of the properties recently condemned in Carbondale are owned by absentee landlords from NY & NJ. The ones from NY that moved here are welcome. As for the rest of you, keep your money to fix up the pit you live in.

where in carbondale are you fixing up? and if carbondale is so bad and such a disgusting place to live why bother? why not stay you in ny and fix up the trash there? news flash you are not any better then any of the hard working ppl in carbondale and its ppl like you that are exactlty our problem you come here with your high ass thinking your better then everyone else and your just another who talks out there ass. i will have you know that i have 9 brothers and sisters and every one of them own there own home pluse, very well maintained and kept. as for the ppl who dont kept up there property well you dont know what has happend in there lives to judge them. sure there are slumlords and ppl who dont care or give up but ask yourself why (not that you would care) your inteligence level doesnt seem to be to high. you shouldnt judge others. i grew up in carbondale and i turned out just fine i have a family of my own i work hard and i still care about others, i might not live there right now, but i respect the ones who do. ny nor jersey is anywhere to be all that proud of i drive through parts of jersey to get to carbondale and i wouldnt want to be there. but for the ppl who are well good for them. if carbondale isnt your cup of tea then get the hell out!!!!!!

Like a lot of New Yorkers, your full of yourself. If you were better or smarter you'd have the money to invest in NY, or you'd be from California.

Investing in NY, NJ,Certain parts of Fla or California is not very smart right now. The way to go is to invest in areas where the boom didn't quite inflate things so much.
Properties there are still quite affordable and with little improvement and time, they will surely appreciate.
