Fox is reporting that he has now resigned! He finally got caught!!!!!

The fact that this is this website's current banner-headline story is simultaneously unsurprising and troubling. "Priorities" indeed.

My son played Jenks football and was quite good...very quick and accurate. He loved football but strongly disliked the coach and program at Jenks. I had him removed from the program during the year after MANY confrontations with the staff. It wasn't until I threatened a lawyer that he was allowed to transfer out of football. This program is a joke!!! The verbal abuse with the use of profanity as well as making fun of mentally challenged kids is used daily. They do NOT care about the kids emotional/mental/physical aspects NOR do they concern themselves with how the kids are doing academically. Horrible athletic program and gave my entire family a sour taste for high school football unfortunantly. Very happy he is FINALLY through with the entire Jenks school!!!

What is so funny about this? Even though I am a Union supporter, this is a sad day for big time football in OK. I would be suprised if we ever have a dynasty like Jenks had.....

Does this have anything to do with the recruitment and questionable transfers of athletes to Jenks? Does it have anything to do with the school supporters paying for apartments, houses and jobs for the athletes and their families? The playing of academically inelgible players? Surely not.

All though the rule is stupid, it must be followed...

Union is no differnt... Its crazy these high schools can afford to "buy" their players....

Personally I think it is very sad. Coach Trimble is a great person & we should not be so quick to judge.

I read the loooong report of violations. Well done gentlemen, you have mananged to punish the kids on the team! Here is a thought, put all the effort you heaped upon an uneligible player and put into the kids who are actually eligible.

No, a lot of people have never liked Jenks. The only reason they were ever at the top is because they bribed the best players around the state, with gifts & $ for whatever so they were stacked. Once its all out in the open it wont happen anymore and athletes will be evenly spread out throughout the state. Obviously, he knows he is wrong too or he wouldnt have voluntarily suspeneded himself.

this whole thing is stupid. they never bribed any players to come to jenks. the best players in the state want to get a ring. my son is in the 8th grade and has summer camps with coach trimble. my son says he is funny and is a great coach. and coach trimble didn't resign, but the athletic director did offer to.

Reading the story it say taht he will be placed in an off-campus position until his suspension is over. What a joke. More waste of money that should be going to educate the poor kids in Jenks instead of spending it all on the football program. And we keep asking why our kids in this state are not able to succeed academically? I think this should clear it up for a lot of people.

Pretty much...been going on for years..or at least I know about from when Kejun (sp) Jones was "taken" from Hale....and his family "moved"...Said something not to long ago about it and was flamed upside down the other by others....... so excuse me..lol...I think it's funny... Sad for the "good" kids...but they did it to themselves.
