12-Year-Old Girl Killed In Motorcycle Crash

I hope Summers family takes this into the higher courts and get these ppl convicted because,Summer didn't deserve to lose her life due to someone elses stupidity..Summer deserves Justice & I as her(Daddy Kevins,Fiance)will stop at nothing to ensure that this happens!!!In the end we will get a conviction so that no other family has to endure the pain that Summers family has..

Nickie I sure do hope that Summer gets Justice I am behind you 100%. I loved that little girl like she was my own. I have a hard time even looking at that man. He does not care. I took a whole car load of girls to the graveyard on Memorial Day so we all could put flowers on her. We had such a hard time finding her grave because the poor child has no headstone. I sure do miss her.

Knew too well, I apologize that there is no headstone at her site as yet. I am still paying for the funeral and have received no help in doing so. I had just changed jobs so no insurance (who thought I'd need it). If there was any on the other side, I haven't seen it. This is hard for me, as, Summer was a very important part of my world and I miss her more than can be put in words. I moved out of state after the funeral but am returning soon. (had to get away for a while). As soon as I can afford a headstone, I assure you, there will be one placed. Again, sorry. I can only afford so much and still have her brothers to raise. There are many posts here that I would like to respond to, but, I can't just yet, still too many emotions and anger to deal with.

From what I hear they used it on Kings Island tickets for the rest of the family. An invisible fence for the dog. I was just trying to voice my opinion about the mother and step father how they act like it dosen't matter to them anymore. I can only imagine how you do feel. Your comment didn't upset me as much as the idea that there is still no marker in place. This has bothered me for some time. I have been to the grave site when I come back in town, and often think of how to put one there. Summer and her brothers are my world. She was my only daughter, and we had a relationship that I can't imagine being without. Something in her smile and the way she responded to people in general. I miss her a lot, as does her brothers, Ryan and Kevin Jr. I also heard that they went to Kings Island shortly after the funeral, but, assumed it was insurance money (I didn't know). I am sorry I don't remember much about the funeral or who was there, I was in shock for a couple of weeks. I still can't believe she is gone. I often find myself waiting for the phone to ring, and Summer to be on the other end telling me to come pick her up, she's ready to come home. She was going to go to school with her brothers at Teays Valley the 08-09 school year and was moving to my house the week this happened. Guess it didn't turn out as planned. The girls that I took up to the graveyard would like to have a benefit for her to help get her a marker. But, I didn't want to give the money to them. If it is alright with you I will put one together and maybe I can mail you a check with the proceeds that we get. I was not aware that she was to come live with you. She was so special she would come to our house even if our daughter was not home she would sit with us. We never minded. She was such a good girl. I think maybe she didn't say anything because it would of upseted my daughter and you know her she didn't like to do that. Just wanted to let you know that we are doing everything in our power to make sure he pays. He deserves to spend awhile in Jail. Just let me know about the benefit. Thanks it helps to talk with someone who knows how special of a person she was.

She was Very special to me. Do you live accross the street? I am trying to think who you might be. Summer was tired of being left out while at mom's and she often said that "he" was mean. She told me he didn't hit her or anything, but, that "he was mean". All she wanted was some time with "mom", but, they were too busy 'going out dancing' and such. At least that's what she told me. If and when I meet you in person, I can explain a lot more, but, not here. A benifit would be nice, I would like to help them in their efforts. Knew to well, have you heard anything about the trial? I know he was charged and had a court date to plea, that is all I seem to be able to find out. No one seems to be able to tell me anything else. Funny thing, I got that info from Summer's mom, but, I haven't talked with her since April. Of course, I really don't have any reason to contact her now. The only reason I talked to her then was I needed some paperwork concerning Summer. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks again. Kevin

Dwayne didnt even have enough courtesy to show up in dress clothes he shows up in hawian beach palms on his shorts and a white tank top..........if u look at it like i do he doesnt even care what he did to my sister..........

summers dad i will help you in any way that i can . i think about that little girl everyday . i still see that day all the the time . i did not know her. but she was just a child that i knew she was love by someone like you . i hope they get jail time out of this . and soon before this happens again cause they do not care at all .i go by there house to get home and they still are having a good time . and she sure is not a good mother. and i can not say what i want to happen to her , i feel she is at fault also.

I know that the anniversery is coming up very soon.. I never new Summer And I wish that I could of gotten to know her, cause her whole family talks so Highly of her..

Summer's friends in Sabina are putting together a fund raiser in order to help her dad out. I will post the date and what we will be doing. I am planning on having some car stickers made up with in memory of Summer for purchase at the benefit.
I know that the anniversary is coming up Tuesday and I sure do miss her alot.

We are neighbors of this little girl. I came home from work this day and she was standing on the street in front of my house with all of her friends, I thought to myself I'm so glad to have her as a neighbor because we were new in town and I myself also has a daughter her age and how nice it was going to be to have someone to play with, we were sitting on our couch about a half hour later listening to the motorcycle race up and down the street, squerling tires for at least 15 minutes and all of a sudden we heard sirens from the life squad, I turned to my fiance' and said I know where they are going! it was the most awful feeling, I cried myself to sleep that night and I had never met her, I cant imagine that loss! Just reciently believe it or not the motorcycles were back at it again.. you would think it would stop!! how much more needs to be lost for some people to get it!!!

No I know I would not feel any different. I think her point of the matter is that he thinks he can do anything and get away with it. He just got another driving under suspension this January. He has not learned anything. All he cares about is hiself. No one else. If he did he would actually have feelings about what he did to that precious little girl. Not think that he should get away with it. Jail time is still to good for him. He needs put under the jail.

this is such a horrible thing to happen to such a young person. GOD tell me this woman is not being given a chance to endanger more precious little lives!!!they should both get life as they took hers! i,m so sorry for the lose her family has suffered.

This is so sad to lose someone close at such a young age.. I send my prayers to all the family and friends of this little girl, I had close to the same thing happen to me I lost my sister who was 18 to a drunk driver who also had his son with him and he got away with 2 years in prison while she lost her whole life the justice of today doesnt serve the families it serves the KILLERS!!!! May god be with you all in your time of sadness and sorrow.
