I think this is a very smart and troubled young man. I think he was reaching out for help. I don't think he would ever have created and used a weapon of mass destruction. I hope things work out for him.

I am very proud of these kids. Thier actions are somewhat of a rebuke to me in so many ways. Thank you for listening to your heart and doing the right thing. You are very special kids on the right track. Don't get off. God bless you all.

WLTX, for once it is nice to read "good news."

This is great. It shows that there are good people left in the world. Everyone, let's pray for this young man and ask God to help him come to know HIM, so that he can find the peace that he do desperately needs.

You betcha forgive him, send a bible, but..... Keep this lunatic behind bars or in a mental ward. If he had his way there would have been a school blown up and a whole bunch of dead kids, his well wishers included. Think psychotic.

Forgiveness is fine, support and prayers are wonderful...but don't turn your back on him. Even well-loved pet snakes tend to strike.

Way to go, give him a crutch to carry him through the rest of his 'life,' instead of giving him reason to face up to his problems and work through them.

Well he did want to kill Jesus. Now he can read the Bible and plan to kill every one in it.

This kids need to stay locked up the rest of his life. He needs serious rehabilitation AND God's help. Throwing him a bible is fruitless but at least their hearts were in the right place. Legally, however--there should be NO pity given to this kid.

I don't think it's going to help much though. This kid is obviously evil...just look at those eyes. That's like sending a crazy person a book on pychology.

I highly doubt someone that wants to die so he can kill Jesus is gonna want anything to do with the bible. Still nice of the kids to send it though

While it is admirable that his classmates can forgive him, he has to be held accountable to the full letter of the law. I don't understand anyone thinking he would not have carried through with this plan, his psychological issues were getting worse and worse. His parents are to be commended for trying to get him help and reporting him before he had the chance to carry through.....

Pray for him, hope he gets better, but keep him securely away from society.....

Hmmm, im going to have to disagree with that. This kid is a textbook sociopath. He absolutely would have used that weapon if he had the opportunity.

Very commendable of the young people forgiving this troubled youth and sending the Bible to him. It shows they are much bigger than this trouble young person ever will be. They set a very fine example of others to emulate. Please continue to stay on the right track.

Obviously, you are not a Christian. I think it is admirable for children to be devoted enough to Christ to take a bible to school.

You should take the short bus....
