Huntsville Police Arrest 13 Students, 1 Adult In Fight At Johnson High School

It is a shame that students have lost sight of the real reason they are in school. Education is a terrible thing to waste. Furthermore, it is a bigger shame that a parent would make a fool out of themselves at the school fighting in front of the students. It starts with home training which obviously several of the students don't have and it's obvious why! Children are a reflection of the way their parents bring them up. No wonder the school systems are out of control!!!

You gotta love the NW Huntsville folks. Never a dull moment.

Obviously there are some lessons that failed to be learned by both the students and the parents. As far as NW Huntsville folk being entertainment for the masses...perhaps we are not as good at covering up our dirty laundry or manipulating the data and/or news, but trust me, we're laughing at the SW,SE,NE and Madison folks too. By the way, its Toney, not Tony.

I don't understand why they would like to get involed in that type of stuff anyway were ever you bring drama there;s going to be problem and to do it at a school the parent's no better they are to support the kids and teaching them the right way of handling things now look the parents have to make the kids sat inside they probley be on punshiment and all that could have been solved but now the kids will be mad at you because they can't go any where that make it harder for the kids to get a good education and thats just push kids further away from the parnets.and when they have a young one they they can come to a school houes and start clowning nothing but foolisness

I concur with R-Moore. The reasons for the great number of students involved in this are based on upbringing and what kinds of conflict resolution methods each child is exposed to on a daily basis.
Emotions for one, are not what one should rely on to form a response to an insult. Intelligence, creativity and awareness of the situation are far better resources to rationalize an insult (meant to cause pain) and choose the best response--one that avoids physical confrontation.
Also, whatever happened to punctuation? And people are not objects. So, please don't use 'that', the correct term is who. Folks who graduated...

How is it that they keeping allowing adults to walk through the halls of the school. where was security,Why hasn't this situation been handdeled after month's of complaints.Why we as parent's dont feel safe sending our kid's to school?

That's just great. You may be joking around Troy, but you're making the school and yourself look even worse. Go do your homework. This situation is not a joke. It's pathetic. The actions of individual people don't represent the an entire school, neighborhood, or section of town. Will the intelligent people that care about getting an education please step forward?

The point of the matter is that school officials should have handled the situation better. Where was security & administration? Parents, its up to us to reclaim our schools for our children. Our children deserve better. We can't control others, but we can control what we allow in our schools. Lets just thank God that no one was seriously hurt today.

And as far as NW...people please don't make assumptions about the entire area because of one incident. This area consist of a wide range of successful individuals, please believe!!!!!!!
