patchcat wrote: Walker is my choice...first guy to stand up to the unions on collective bargaining. What other jobs can you renegotiate your salary halfway thru a year when the budget is already out or go on strike. I know my company would toss me out if I stomped in the office and demanded to renegotiate my work package! And it is about time they start paying a little of their benefits: my sister has a job at the loacal community college and it is unbeleivable the benefits she gets my taxes are paying for...its sickening. Guess I should have gone into teaching instead. What is more ridiculous is the money being spent on a recall..this guy did nothing wrong compared to most bozos in office...nothing criminal, no derelection of duty, and now people dont like him cause he took some of their perks away?! Get a fxckin life and start paying your fair share! 1) I'm not a union member... never been. I don't like Walker because he's a hypocritical liar. I'm born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. I know what he was about when he served in office here. He's denying it all now and blaming in on what should have been his partner. Maybe, if he'd been a team player here rather than going only for self, he wouldn't be involved with the John Doe investigation now. 2) Your sister chose an occupation you did not choose. Why didn't you go into teaching? Did you not want to start at the crap pay she did? I'm going to go out on a limb and point out SHE IS A TAXPAYER TOO. Are you also disgusted by service members and veterans? I mean, service members PAY ZERO into their benefits... whether or not they serve in a combat situation. They pay home state taxes, but no federal taxes. All veterans can receive benefits at reduced prices. Who do you think is picking up the rest of the tab for that? 3) I can approach my employer any time to discuss a renegotiation of pay... and I work in the private sector. Your overly dramatic description of renegotiations is political spin. 4) Walker didn't stand up to unions. He back-doored them. He bought the police/fighters and concrete workers unions. He stated publicly he work with unions, while describing "divide and conquer" tactics in back room with billionaires. I don't want a red or blue state. I want a free state.

For Democrats, the recall defeat of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker on June 5th is supposed to be a precursor to Barack Obama’s landslide re-election victory in November. Not so fast. Scott Walker, who faced token opposition last night in the primaries, won 97% of the Republican vote, garnering more votes than both of the top Democratic candidates combined. He actually pulled in almost as many votes as were cast in the Democratic primary altogether. Not a very good sign for Unions and Democrats who will face Walker for real on June 5th.

Walker should win with the same majority of voters that put him in the first place. This whole recall thing was a big waste of time & money. We just have to watch out the dems trying to cheat.

I thought we were done with this erroneous fuzzy math. Walker received 626,538 votes All the Democratic votes combined come to 670,278... add to that number the 19,920 for Kohl-Riggs, whom we know is a Democrat, and the final number is 690,198 votes. If you give those 19,920 votes to Walker... he still loses. Considering he believes the majority of Wisconsinites are in favor of what he's done, I'd say he and his supporters need to worry. 690,198 - 626,538 = 63,660 people Walker needed to turn his way... and failed. Remember, in reality Walker was the only choice for Republicans in the primary. Democrats had several, and turned out in greater numbers. Don't put a neat spin on it... unless your plan is to bring more Dems and Independents out in June.

You can't assume that all of the Fem votes will go to Barrett. You can't also assume all of the votes for the fake Rep candidate will go to Barrett. Either way the point was that Walker did very well considering there was less motivation for Republicans to vote than Dems. You were selecting a candidate the Republicans were just showing support. Another good sign is that all the Dems combined even with your fuzzy math didn't equal the number of signatures. This shows it's easier to get someone to sign a paper so you leave them alone when they are trying to shop than it will be to get them to vote.

I can't assume a Democrat voter will vote for a Democrat candidate? What are you on about? The fake Republican candidate is universally recognized as being a Democrat. Had Walker supporters not shown up for the primary, Walker wouldn't be on the June ballot. Supporters needed to show up or risk a little known Democrat going up against a well known Democrat in the recall election. It isn't that hard to grasp. I didn't claim those votes ought to be attributed to Barrett... I added them to the Democrat votes. The original point... made repeatedly... is ERRONEOUS. The original point... made repeatedly... is Walker received more votes than all Democrat candidates combined. It's ERRONEOUS. The amended point... Walker garnered nearly as many votes... is not necessarily erroneous, it's silly. Second place is the first place loser.

Well if you want to look at it in depth look at the contrast of votes for lt. Gov to those for Gov. It shows a wide gap and the only explanation is Rep voters voting for Falk. Your comment about second place being the first loser that's correct Walker got more votes than anyone. So that makes Barrett the first loser. Bring on the trolley man he will lose AGAIN to Walker.

Spend, spend, spend, Stop it already! Well, well, well... After yesterday's vote in Wisconsin's recall election in the books. In case no one has been following this. I'll clue you in. The unions have spent close to 100 million dollars trying to get rid of Walker. What they got for their trouble on election day was more people came out an voted for Walker than both liberals combined. Even though the republicans din't need to vote, they decided to let the liberals know they weren't going anywhere. What that means is Walker will be running against the same person he beat the shit out of to begin with. LMAO! Ain't that brilliant. That's even more funny than the 10 million they pissed away trying to beat Blanch Lincoln in Arkansas in 2010 Indiana proved 2 things yesterday. Obama ain't winning Indiana this time and the "Tea Party" is alive and well. That's why the liberals have been mourning all day. The folks in North Carolina continued the national )trend 31 out of 32) of states overwhelmingly saying NO TO SAME SEX MARRIAGE! Now, here comes Obama saying he supports Gay Marriage. No Shit? I knew that 5 years ago. And, what really gave it away is when you shirked your constitutional duty to defend DOMA. Of course, that wasn't the real reason. The big money h*m*s in California closed their checkbook to Obama... Obama is struggling to raise money. Corporate America has cut his ass off. Speaking of DOMA... Here we got Bubba Clinton in North Carolina defending and promoting Gay Marriage... Hey Bubba! You're the man who came up with DOMA! WTF? And, last but no least the hard left is freaking out because the Democratic National Convention is being held in North Carolina. You can't make the stuff up. Here comes the gays, lesbians, Transgenders (that sounds like a gay credit reporting agency) and all the other "Useful Idiots" to North Carolina to spend money with all these gun toting rednecks.

Why is it so difficult to admit what other Walker supporters here have admitted. Fuzzy math was reported. There is a lot more to do... ON BOTH SIDES... before the June election.

Well, I'm glad someone took the time to do this!.... So if you delete these fom the 900,900+ signatures on the recall, it's still WAY over the 540,000 needed. A relative of mine is on the Ozaukee Co board, and in this heavy republican county alone, the list of late, or unpaide taxpayers is longer than that....What's you'r point.
