First of all, I would like to thank Allison White for posting this story on Dragon. I knew him very well, and you did the right thing by setting the record straight on the kind of man he was in life. I loved him like a father in the sense that when I had questions that I felt I couldn't talk to anyone else about, I could always talk to him, and usually would get BRUTALLY honest answers. He never pussy-footed around with people. If you asked him a question, you better be ready for an answer you might not like, but somehow, his answers tended to be right on. He lived in a black and white world, where right was right, and wrong was wrong, and there was no gray area, and God's truth would guide you as it guided him. I loved this man, and still do. Thank you Byron, and thank you Allison. God Bless.

We keep hearing about homeless people after they die. We hear they were wonderful people. Why don't we ever hear about homeless individuals while they are alive? Why not tell the name of a homeless person you know who is a wonderful person and who needs some help to find a place to live, or food to eat, or a program to help them get off drugs? Tell us how to contact them, and who knows, maybe they will get the help they need before some disaster happens to them, the way it did to Mike Borcalli.

A special heart felt thanks to all of you for the kind words regarding Mike. Byron, a special thanks to you for your telephone interview with Allison White. She especially needed to understand Michael and you conveyed his person to her.
Michael loved you and I appreciate you being his friend. His family never had a relationship with him the way that you did. His friends in Eureka spoke very warmly about him also. I know he had a good heart and wanted to help those that need help.
Thank you for being his friend.

I would like to thank Byron and all of the friends who have responded to Byron's letter. He loved all of you all very much. Mike was truly a loving man, and nephew. His love ran deep, and he would do anything he could to help anyone in need. I was, and am, proud to call him my nephew, and to have had a close relationship with him. He is sorely missed, but I do believe that his faith in Jesus Christ is what brought him through life, and will continue to bless him throughout eternity.

I love you very much, Mike.

Mike was a caring individual who had a great laugh and smile. Our addiction takes us to places that we never thought we'd go and unfortunately, ugly things like this happen too often. Rest in peace Mike Dragon. See you in the next life!

Mike was NOT FAKE...his heart was too big.

Micheal and I had our small battles, said our peace and made up...I loved him.

I feel a big loss, I will miss you my friend!

"pablo" and I will see you in the next life.

PS If you love and appreciate someone, tell them while they are alive, NOT after they are gone.

Nicely written Byron and Allison!

My mother was a close friend of Mike's. Unfortunately they lost contact with one another about 6 years ago. I would like to obtain whatever information I can so I can give that information to her.
My mother's name is Carolyn Nelson, also known as Fergie.
Any help is appreciated.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Virgo

It's okay to have high expectations, but try to keep in mind that no one can be all things to all people. As the Moon spends one last day in its current sign, it urges you to find a way to recognize others for their strengths, and forgive them their weaknesses. Virgoans' idiosyncrasies must look like strange quirks from the outside as well! Fate ties up the loose ends towards the end of the day.
