Communications Manager for Frontier’s Western Region Stephanie Beasly said much of the credit for the building being salvaged was due to the efforts of Frontier Transmission Technician John Ward, who is also a battalion chief with the Janesville Fire Department.
What is this idiot talking about? Apparently, brave and knowledgeable firefighters FROM Susanville were already on the scene taking care of business before Ward even got a call. As a matter of fact, and a little investigation which the writer didn't do, a couple of Susanville firefighters were into their 3rd tank of oxygen (1 hrs worth) before Ward showed up. They KNEW by their professional training what measures to safely take without waiting for directions on how to tackle an electrical fire! What kind of small town crappy and unprofessional reporters do the Lassen County Times hire!? Give credit where credit is due...especially with firefighters that risk going BLINDLY into buildings on fire! |
