I wonder if this was the best picture the Democrat could find of wonderful Mr. Potter. With no explanation to the bandage on his head, one wonders if he fell, was struck, or some other timely event. I guess it doesn't really matter as the picture did show him quite lively and happy. Something he always seemed to be. RIP Jack

We all will certainly miss Jack. He was a wonderful man with a great dry wit. He was bright, principled, a big thinker, politically astute, well-traveled, curious, kind and well-respected. I remember the kidding he would get for digging tunnels/rooms under his home - a great place for the perfect dark room. He had many hobbies - travel, photography, history, current events and a love of family.
I am so glad I had a chance to know you, Jack, and to see you one last time last year. My warm thoughts are with the Potter family. |
