I wonder if this was the best picture the Democrat could find of wonderful Mr. Potter. With no explanation to the bandage on his head, one wonders if he fell, was struck, or some other timely event. I guess it doesn't really matter as the picture did show him quite lively and happy. Something he always seemed to be. RIP Jack

We all will certainly miss Jack. He was a wonderful man with a great dry wit. He was bright, principled, a big thinker, politically astute, well-traveled, curious, kind and well-respected. I remember the kidding he would get for digging tunnels/rooms under his home - a great place for the perfect dark room. He had many hobbies - travel, photography, history, current events and a love of family.

I am so glad I had a chance to know you, Jack, and to see you one last time last year. My warm thoughts are with the Potter family.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Sagittarius

Once again, your nerves are getting the better of you. There will be some fraught moments unless you can control your temper and not get drawn into verbal fisticuffs at the drop of a paper hat. It won't help if a partner is feeling neglected as that will give you something else to worry about. You need to relax and start enjoying yourself!
