Does Google spy on you for NSA? Judge says,'None of your business'

'Court is not to conduct detailed inquiry to decide whether it agrees with agency'

A federal judge has ordered that whether Google is spying for National Security Agency or not, you have no right to know.

"The NSA need not disclose 'the organization or any function of the National Security Agency,[or] any information with respect to the activities thereof,'" U.S. District Judged Richard Leon has ordered.

"Once the agency, through affidavits, has created 'as complete a public record as is possible' and explained 'in as much detail as is possible the basis for its claim,'…'the court is not to conduct a detailed inquiry to decide whether it agrees with the agency's opinions,'" he said.

The demand for information had been raised by the Electronic Privacy Information Center, which said the ruling would be appealed.

Is this how president spent millions to sell Obamacare?

Look how Google, Yahoo got paid by White House

President Obama's former political director worked at an international advertising agency that received government funds to direct a multi-million dollar campaign to sell Obamacare to the public, WND has learned.

Last week, Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates government corruption, reportedly obtained documents showing the White House helped coordinate the taxpayer-funded publicity campaign.

The campaign used Internet search engines such as Google and Yahoo to drive Web traffic to government websites promoting the Affordable Health Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

The campaign was led by Ogilvy & Mather, an international advertising, marketing and public relations agency based in Manhattan.

The documents, obtained using a Freedom of Information request, showed that from October 2010 through February 2011, the Obama administration spent $1,435,009 on an online advertising campaign alone, including campaigns with Google and Yahoo, at almost $300,000 per month.

Eric Schmidt Admits Google+ Is a Giant Advertising Database

New Facebook-style social networking is part of Google’s plan to “own your online ID”

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Tuesday, August 30, 2011

Google CEO Chairman Eric Schmidt has tacitly admitted that the company’s Facebook-style social networking platform, Google+, is little more than a sprawling advertising database for the benefit of big corporations to target end users.

Activist Post Deleted! Google Erases Popular Alternative News Source

Zen Gardner
Before It’s News
Sept 24, 2011

At mid-day on Friday, September 23, 2011, the popular alternative news blog, ActivistPost.com , was taken offline. Activist Post receives over one million views per month and has been hosted by Google’s Blogger since its founding in June 2010.
“We remain puzzled as to why Activist Post was erased completely by Google,” said chief editor and co-founder Michael Edwards.“When we tried to load our back-up file into our secondary Blogger account, that was blocked as well,” he added.
It remains unclear whether Google has acted to censor ActivistPost.com for their controversial reporting. Google is becoming somewhat notorious for clamping down on truth and liberty activists, of which Activist Post is known for.
“Clearly, this is a huge set back for us and the work we do,” said co-founder Eric Blair.“Our entire crew is working on resolving the issue and restoring the website. We certainly look forward to an explanation from Google.”

Google Is Already Using SOPA-Like Censorship

Web giant blacklists websites, follows government orders to remove material

Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Thursday, January 19, 2012

Despite Google’s much-heralded support for the anti-SOPA movement, the web giant is already enforcing SOPA-like policies of its own, blacklisting legitimate websites from its news aggregator and following government orders to remove material from its search results and You Tube.

As major Internet giants joined forces yesterday to protest legislation that would hand the U.S. government power to arbitrarily seize websites with no legal process under the pretext of copyright infringement, Google slapped a black censorship image over its logo and urged people to sign an anti-SOPA petition that has accrued over 5 million signees.

However, Google’s main issue with SOPA is seemingly not related to their concerns about Chinese-style web censorship becoming commonplace, but rather which entity gets to wield those powers – large transnational corporations or governments.

While Google criticizes SOPA publicly, it is already privately using SOPA-like powers to unfairly marginalize legitimate web content.

Google News is a content aggregator that allows users to search thousands of news sources for relevant stories. Although the aggregator includes a plethora of obscure, occasionally offensive, and barely-read websites, in November 2010 Google took the decision to de-list PrisonPlanet.com and Infowars.com from its indexed news sources.

Infowars.com alone is an internationally recognized news website that gets more traffic than MSNBC.com and innumerable other big mainstream news websites. Our articles are routinely featured on the Drudge Report, which itself is renowned as the primary agenda-setting news website in the United States, driving more traffic to individual stories than the likes of Facebook and Twitter combined.

Google announces privacy changes across products; users can’t opt out

By Cecilia Kang,
Tuesday, January 24, 3:33 PM

Google said Tuesday it will follow the activities of users across e-mail, search, YouTube and other services, a shift in strategy that is expected to invite greater scrutiny of its privacy and competitive practices.

The information will enable Google to develop a fuller picture of how people use its growing empire of Web sites. Consumers will have no choice but to accept the changes.

“There is no way anyone expected this,” said Jeffrey Chester, executive director of privacy advocacy group the Center for Digital Democracy.“There is no way a user can comprehend the implication of Google collecting across platforms for information about your health, political opinions and financial concerns.”

Google recently settled a privacy complaint by the Federal Trade Commission after it allowed users of its now defunct social network Google Buzz to see contacts lists from its e-mail program. The company said it fulfilled its requirement to review any privacy changes with federal regulators.

Privacy advocates in recent weeks filed a separate complaint that Google deceived consumers by using information from its new social network Google+ in general search results.

You Read It Here First: Google’s ‘Ambient Background’ Spy Tech

‘Internet of things’ also a surveillance tool for authorities
Paul Joseph Watson
Infowars.com
Friday, March 23, 2012

Six years ago we warned readers that Google was planning to use the ambient background noise of a person’s environment to spy on their activities in order to direct targeted advertising at them through technological devices. That has now come to fruition with the search engine giant filing a petition for “Advertising based on environmental conditions.”

“As that title implies, it’s not just background sounds that could be used to determine what adverts you seen on your mobile phone. The patent also describes using ‘temperature, humidity, light and air composition’ to produced targeted adverts,” reports the Daily Mail.

In other words, Google is going to spy on your private conversations, music preferences, TV watching habits, your choice of radio station, and whatever else is happening in your immediate environment, in order to build a psychological profile of your entire life.

The current patent relates to smart phones, but any Inter-connected device could ultimately be used for the same purpose.

Indeed, back in 2006 when we first reported on the issue, Google was already finalizing plans to spy on an individual’s ambient background environment by means of the microphone embedded in their personal computer.

In an article entitled Government, Industry To Use Computer Microphones To Spy On 150 Million Americans, we reported how Google was “planning to use microphones in the computers of an estimated 150 million-plus Internet active Americans to spy on their lifestyle choices and build psychological profiles which will be used for surveillance and minority report style invasive advertising and data mining.”

Google’s efforts to spy on users via their cell phones is part of the wider move towards the ‘Internet of things’ where virtually every technological appliance will be connected to the web, opening a pandora’s box of surveillance opportunities.

Given that the private industry is already licking its lips at the commercial prospects for this technology, don’t be naive to think that the state isn’t too far behind.

CIA Director David Petraeus recently lauded this development as “transformational” because it would open up a world of new opportunities for “clandestine tradecraft,” or in other words, make it easier for intelligence agencies and governments to spy on you via your dishwasher.

Speaking at a UC Berkeley alumni event, Eric Schmidt talked about how he and his wife met
In February, was reportedly looking towards a 'transition and amicable separation and settlement' with current wife, Wendy
Linked to three other women, according to reports

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER
UPDATED: 15:46 EST, 4 April 2012

He’s been tied to three paramours, but that doesn’t stop former Google CEO Eric Schmidt from speaking amorously about his current wife.

In an extraordinary step, the Google exec publically backed his wife Wendy at a UC Berkeley alumni function two weeks ago.

In his speech, Schmidt lavished on what an important decision it was to attend the research university –partially for his education, but in large part because that’s where he met current wife Wendy.

Google Is Evil
BY RORY O'CONNOREMAIL AUTHOR 06.12.12 8:02 PM

It’s bad enough when you run a search company in an increasingly social world. It’s worse when anti-trust regulators say you have unfairly and illegally used your dominance in search to promote your own products over those of competitors. Now Google executives, who like to boast of their company’s informal motto,“Don’t Be Evil,” also stand accused of being just that — and rightly so. What other interpretation is possible in light of persistent allegations that the internet titan deliberately engaged in “the single greatest breach in the history of privacy” and “one of the biggest violations of data protection laws that we had ever seen?”

I believe there is an agenda towards a more controlled American society. Conspiracy theorist has become a derogative term as of late. As I and many people see it if our leaders fail to uphold our constitution and bend us into something we are not, that is a major problem. People using the term conspiracy terrorists are often to paranoid of looking at the bigger picture. If they ever tried to compare the collapse of the roman republic to America of today it would make much much more sense. Self inflicted terrorist attacks to distract the general public and create more unconstitutional and un american burocracy. <-- people this is what happened at the start of wwII with Germany.
In the end America will one day fall and unfortunately I will most likely witness it in my lifetime. It might even be what kills me. As a Christian I will always look forward to the hope of Christ's return. No man will ever know the day or the hour. But I know if I am screwed over in this life I will be redeemed in my second life. No I will not be automatically going to heaven when I die IMO. But when the return comes some day I will be redeemed. Point given. LOVE AND LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST NOW BEFORE THE $HIT HITS THE FAN IN THE FUTURE.

Ps:the editor of this section is a sheep. Who actually carries themselves like a high school jock. We may share allot of the same ideas but I never run with any given idea until I compile it with basic common sence
