now this county will have to build a jail and maybe even a bigger one. The county has been telling the truth and DB and his friends called them liars.

the commissioners were hoping to not be ordered by the court to build and they have been telling you this for over 18 months, and for the past 20 years County Executives have been saying "we are building". Well now we have no choice, and we also have no choice if they tell us how many beds the new jail MUST contain. The plans are for 163 beds, but the state could say 250 is what we will build. Our commissioners today were doing what was right, 4 were new this term, and a handful of people screwed everything up and look where we are today. This is something that should have happened years ago, but every Executive was "chicken" of how the people would re-act.

Anyone can file frivolous lawsuits. The burden of proof is having enough evidence to prove your case at hand.

Isnt it odd that this lawsuit comes up at the same time as DBs and both just before the voting for the charter? Here is a quote from another tread made by part of "the group"...
"FENTRESS COUNTY IS NOT GOING TO SPEND HUGE AMOUNTS IN LEGAL FEES DEFENDING LAWSUITS BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE A REAL DEFENSE. INSURANCE COMPANY WILL PAY UP WITH OUT MUCH OF A FIGHT."
It has always been about making money...:)

But they are concerned about the finances of the county..lol...Would sure, in my opinion, put a huge black mark against the Charter form of government..Wow..Do you know that when DB was the CE,that there were people in Fentress county complaining about the jail situation in the CC meetings? Wow,that far back there were people complaining about the jail situation.About a dozen years later, some people are saying there is no problems..Also a Grand Jury inspected the jail, and said it was time to build. Now think about this for a second..If someone sues the county because it is too full, they sure would have some good ammo to support their position.Sure glad the CC is building one or we would be in big trouble with lawsuits.

DB stated that building a jail was not true and the county commissioners were putting the money in their pockets. Also stated we did not need a jail. Well now i guess he will tell people that FS and CC has a Federal Judge in their pockets. Tidbit of information, DB's attorney filed a law suit against Knox County for taking away the peoples right to vote for county commissioners. Ironic that lawyer filed a suit against Charter government, that is what Knox County has, do we want the same thing?

Does seem like having more that one lawsuit going would increase the odds on a settlement in at least one though.

I think this has something to do with Franks 'nurse(?) wife', administering a lethal injection on an inmate, or at least an inmates death. The capitan may have to shell back all that he has stolen, oops I mean acquired, over the years. We love you FS, to get gone, before you get 'your ass kicked down the stairs'.

It may have nothing to do with DB law suit, but this entire county was told it would come to this. DB and his friends said they were lying. What else have they lied about? Read these law suits and you will see.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Pisces

Relationships are kind of shaky under this Lunar Cycle and you may even get the distinct impression you're heading for a major showdown with a certain someone. Although this feels like a crisis, don't let panic or desperation push you into decisions you would normally steer clear of. You may think you've reached the end of the road, but this isn't a good reason to go off the deep end and make drastic decisions. Proceed with caution!
