TSA Checkpoints Now On TN Highways
The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security on Tuesday partnered with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and several other federal and state agencies for a safety enforcement and awareness operation on Tennessee’s interstates and two metropolitan-area bus stations. They are randomly inspecting vehicles on highways in Tennessee. The random inspections really aren’t any more thorough normal, according to Tennessee Highway Patrol Colonel Tracy Trott who says paying attention to details can make a difference. “People generally associate the TSA with airport security…but now we have moved on to other forms of transportation, such as highways, buses and railways,” said Kevin McCarthy, TSA federal security director for West Tennessee. continued.......... http://tennesseenewspress.com/2011/10/19/tsa-... |

Judged: 1 The Intel Hub October 20, 2011 The full scale Department of Homeland Security takeover of America shifted into high gear Tuesday with an army of TSA agents conducting illegal, 4th amendment killing, random searches throughout Tennessee. The Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) program was put into motion at 2 public bus stations as well as at 5 weigh stations throughout the state. The program is billed as a must have anti terrorism measure when in reality no terrorists have ever been arrested by TSA and all the supposed terrorists who have been arrested in America since 9/11 have literally been run by the FBI. News Channel 5 Tennessee You’re probably used to seeing TSA’s signature blue uniforms at the airport, but now agents are hitting the interstates to fight terrorism with Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR). “Where is a terrorist more apt to be found? Not these days on an airplane more likely on the interstate,” said Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons. In East Germany Stasi fashion, DHS officials are also recruiting multiple truck drivers in the area for their tell on your neighbors, see something say something program. The underlying fact is that these random checkpoints and searches are NOT for terrorists,(they essentially do not exist without the help of the FBI) they are for everyday American people. This is evident when you consider that these searches are conducted by drug enforcement agents with drug sniffing dogs. We are basically expected to be so stupid as to believe that drug sniffing dogs at random checkpoints are somehow for terrorists and not the guy with a half smoked joint in his ashtray. The Tennessee Highway Patrol checked trucks with drug and bomb sniffing dogs during random inspections. For their part, the corporate controlled media, failing to do any sort of journalistic investigation, have literally worshiped the end of free America. In example after example the controlled media has tried to convince Americans that this is all for their own good and completely normal in a free society.(see the East German Stasi) This is far from “fighting” terrorism, this is about complete control of our once free society as staged terror plot after staged terror plot is splashed across the media in a move to get Americans to submit to a full scale police state all in the name of security. continued.......... http://theintelhub.com/2011/10/20/tsa-takeove... |

After talking personally to many people about the presence of TSA on Tennessee highways (all were familiar with the grope/rapes that now occurs at the airports) every single one was adamant that their wives and children absolutely would not be put through this.
The women I have spoken to are especially fierce in the opinion that this is wholly wrong for the Federal Government to try and force American families through grope-rape downs and DNA destroying naked body scanners. |

Tennessee Highways–TSA performing unwarranted random searches
October 22, 2011 by ppjg Marti Oakley (c)copyright 2011 All Rights Reserved __________ As Smedley Butler said:“It is always easy to convince half of the people to kill the other half.” Say hello to the invasion of TSA agents inside the states, on our roads, unlawfully and illegally interfering with the right to travel freely….unacosted by government agents. TSA says “If you see something , say something”. Ok! I will! I saw video of TSA agents unlawfully and unconstitutionally, randomly stopping busses and trucks in a video. They are looking for terrorists!!! And, if you are an American, minding your business, doing your job…. you might be one! You are an American, aren’t you? You are licensed and gainfully employed, aren’t you? YOU! Are suspect! I have to wonder here if they are going to stop those mexican trucks that we have been paying to repair and update so that they can travel freely on America’s highways? Or would that be racial profiling? Claiming they are looking for terrorists, that airports are no longer a concern (does that mean they will quit molesting flyers? Children?) TSA has landed in Tennessee. Apparently Tennessee is a hot bed of terrorist activity (who knew?) and they must now “randomly” stop and search trucks at weigh-stations and also busses. You can bet your sweet bippy that random searches (without warrant or probable cause) of your personal vehicle is next. Smedley was right. Just look at the individuals who merrily don the TSA uniform (it has a BADGE and everything!) and dutifully report to work knowing full well they are violating your rights and are breaking the law, themselves. I do not know one person, anywhere, who believes the rationale for any of this. The news report ends with a reminder that Timothy McVeigh (Oklahoma bombing patsy) was stopped before the staged attacks in Oklahoma for not having tags on his car. OMG! I am so scared now! I will not complain if I am unlawfully stopped, detained and searched by the employees of a federal corporate agency. And don’t forget! You too could be a snitch! Why…they’ll even pay you to snitch! I know of not one person who would not report suspicious activity if they observed it. The idea that this is being used as a reason for the unlawful activity of TSA is ludicrous. It is what it is. A conditioning exercise to allow us to become accustomed to being stopped, questioned and searched without reason or cause. As I have said many times….they aren’t hunting terrorists, they are hunting US. http://ppjg.wordpress.com/2011/10/22/tennesse... |

The U.S. Supreme Court has Ruled, page 1
Pages: << 1 2 3 4 >> THE U.S. SUPREME COURT HAS RULED. The “supremacy clause” is dealt with in Mack/Printz, in which the U.S. Supreme Court stated once and for all, that the only thing “supreme” is the Constitution itself. Where by the powers, the Sheriff reigns supreme above the president. “the duly elected sheriff of a county is the highest law enforcement official within a county and has law enforcement powers EXCEEDING that of any other state OR federal official.” Guess what else? The District Court ruled in favor of the sheriffs. In fact, they stated, Wyoming is a sovereign state and the duly elected sheriff of a county is the highest law enforcement official within a county and has law enforcement powers exceeding that of any other state or federal official.” Go back and re-read this quote. politicalvelcraft.org ... Do any of you realize what this means? If you the citizens elect into your county, any county in the USA, a person to become the sheriff of your county, that sheriff has the right to "NOT" allow the TSA, the FBI, the ATF or any other Federal Officials to do things within your county that you the citizens don't like. I think its time that you search out such officials and to start electing them the sheriff and regain your citizens rights. For instance in any state USA, if the Sheriff doesn't like TSA agents and their BS illegal body searches, then they will have to stay out of the county. For instance in California, the State of California has legalized the growing of pot, therefore if any Sheriff in California tells the feds to stay out of their county, they will have to stay out of their county. (Case No. 2:96-cv-099-J (2006)) and announced that all federal officials are forbidden to enter his county without his prior approval …… For more than two years, all federal agents entering Bighorn County, Wyo., have been required to check in with sheriff Dave Mattis and state their intentions. Sheriffs Put Feds In Their Place. ONE THAT JUST HAPPENED IN NEW MEXICO! Obama’s Federal Stooges Beginning To Understand The Power Of Sheriffs: Sheriff Warns Federal Agents They Will Be Arrested If They Interfere! What I'm trying to get to here, is simply this. America needs to be taken back by the citizens of the USA and here is a LEGAL WAY to take back America in a non confrontational manner. Simply elect a sheriff into your county that will get rid of federal officials that are not protecting the citizens of the USA in a manner that the citizens don't want to be protected. The sheriff of your county is your friend, he has more rights than the feds have. The Sheriff Has More Power In His County Than The President Of The United States: U.S. Constitution U.S. Supreme Court ~ Quashes Obama’s Claim To “Supremacy Clause” A new bill has been introduced in the Montana State Legislature which require the County Sheriff be notified before any federal agents are allowed to enter the state with the intention of carrying out law enforcement actions. The bill provides not only for pre-notification, but the Sheriff must also give consent before federal agents may proceed. If you want to take back America, take it back legally without destroying any of it, this can be done by putting the right person in "EACH SHERIFFS OFFICE" in "EACH COUNTY" in AMERICA. Let the elected Sheriff of each county take it back. THE COURTS HAVE SPOKEN!“Any legislation including the Patriot Acts which attempts to compel State Officers to execute Federal Law is unconstitutional. Further, any federal investigational liberties can be forbidden by the States’ highest law enforcement officer. Finally, any attempts by a federal agency to coerce compliance to such liberties can be grounds for arrest of any of their agents who do not comply with the directions of that officer.” http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread768... |

Texas on the Potomac
Washington news with a Texas accent Ron Paul blasts TSA’s “sinister” military-style crackdown on U.S. highways Presidential candidate and Texas Rep. Ron Paul called the Transportation Security Administration’s new campaign of random inspections on Tennessee highways a “slippery slope,” which could lead to more “unconstitutional searches.” Paul said the program comes complete with a “sinister military-style acronym,” VIPR, or Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response. According to federal law, VIPR teams are meant to work with local law enforcement to “augment the security of any mode of transportation at any location within the United States.” “If you thought the ‘Transportation Security Administration’ would limit itself to conducting unconstitutional searches at airports, think again,” Paul said in a statement.“The agency intends to assert jurisdiction over our nation’s highways, waterways, and railroads as well.” “Disarming the highways and filling them full of jack-booted thugs demanding to see our papers is no way to make them safer. Instead, it is a great way to expand government surveillance powers and tighten the noose around our liberties.” According to reports from a local news station in Portland, Tenn., the TSA last week instituted five checkpoints at truck-weighing stops and bus stations across the state. The Tennessee Highway Patrol checked trucks with bomb- and drug-sniffing dogs during the random inspections, according to the news video: http://blog.chron.com/txpotomac/2011/10/ron-p... |

TENNESSEE JOINS TSA IN CREATING RANDOM CHECK POINTS
By Chuck Baldwin October 27, 2011 NewsWithViews.com In 1836, former frontiersman and congressman Davy Crockett led a band of volunteers all the way from their home State of Tennessee to San Antonio, Texas, in order to join up with William Travis and his small company of soldiers, and help defend the Alamo--and Texas independence--from Mexican General Santa Anna and his army of over 5,000 seasoned troops. To men such as Crockett, Travis, Jim Bowie, and the rest, State independence and freedom was worth fighting and dying for. To a man, they each proved that. Therefore, it is fitting to wonder what Davy Crockett would think about his home State of Tennessee joining with federal agencies in establishing random checkpoints throughout the Volunteer State. According to a local Tennessee news source,“You're probably used to seeing TSA's signature blue uniforms at the airport, but now agents are hitting the interstates to fight terrorism with Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR). “‘Where is a terrorist more apt to be found? Not these days on an airplane more likely on the interstate,’ said Tennessee Department of Safety & Homeland Security Commissioner Bill Gibbons. “Tuesday Tennessee was first to deploy VIPR simultaneously at five weigh stations and two bus stations across the state.” The report went on to say,“The Tennessee Highway Patrol checked trucks at the weigh station with drug and bomb sniffing dogs during random inspections.” As I have noted in this column before, the one thing that the bogus “war on terror” and “war on drugs” does is it justifies and ratchets up the emerging surveillance state in America. In this regard, virtually every constitutional and historical protection of our God-given and civil rights are being systematically and thoroughly expunged--in the name of “national security.” For all intents and purposes, the Patriot Act eviscerated the 4th and 5th amendments to the US Constitution (and seriously injured many of the others). The Posse Comitatus Act, which dates back to 1878, was flushed down the toilet during the presidencies of George Herbert Walker Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and now Barack Obama. Since 1968, 2nd Amendment liberties are only a shell of what America’s founders intended and established. And the above-mentioned story out of the State of Tennessee is just the latest example of how the US and State governments are continuing to shred the Bill of Rights--and virtually every other protection of individual liberties once thought sacred. The State of Tennessee should be ashamed of itself--and the people of Tennessee should be outraged! Most of us over the age of 50 can well remember the stories and images that came out of the old Soviet Union and its satellite states in the East Bloc. In fact, the phrase,“Show us your papers,” was symbolic of totalitarianism and despotism. Today, that same phrase is part and parcel with America’s “war on terror” and considered “patriotic.” Back in the days of “Free America,” checkpoints were synonymous with Red Russia and Red China. We could never have imagined--or tolerated--those kinds of practices going on in these United States. Now, they are part of everyday life in “Occupied America,” and standard operating procedure in the State of Tennessee and elsewhere. For federal police agencies to be conducting checkpoints (i.e., Tennessee), organizing searches and seizures against citizens complying with State law (i.e., Montana), patrolling city streets (i.e., Alabama, Florida), and even ambushing and killing American citizens (i.e., Idaho, Texas) is the sign that the American experiment of federalism, separation of powers, State sovereignty, etc., is certainly over, and that this new “Occupied America” is in the throes of an ever-burgeoning police state! If Davy Crockett lived today, he wouldn’t have to ride far to find oppression to fight, would he? |

The TSA Is Coming To a Highway Near You
By Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) OP/ED | 2/29/2012 @ 12:09PM |41,452 views While TSO’s may have the appearance of a federal law enforcement officer they have neither the authority nor the power. If a passenger brings a loaded gun or an explosive device into an airport screening area there is nothing a TSO can do until the local police step in to save the day. If TSO’s are truly our nation’s last line of defense in stopping an act of terrorism, then the TSA should immediately end the practice of placing hiring notices for available TSO positions on pizza boxes and at discount gas stations as theyhave done in our nation’s capital. Surely, this is not where our federal government is going to find our brightest and sharpest Americans committed to keeping our traveling public safe. I would contend that we can surely strive for a higher standard and may want to look first to our veterans returning home from the battlefield. Interestingly enough, as TSA officials like to routinely point out, their agency’s acronym stands for Transportation Security Administration, not the Airport SecurityAdministration. This fact has extended the TSA’s reach has far beyond the confines of our nation’s airports. Many of my constituents discovered this first hand this past fall as those familiar blue uniforms and badges appeared on Tennessee highways. In October Tennessee became the first state to conduct a statewide Department of Homeland Security Visible Intermodal Prevention andResponse (VIPR) team operation which randomly inspected Tennessee truck drivers and cars. VIPR teams which count TSO’s among their ranks, conduct searches and screenings at train stations, subways, ferry terminals and every other mass transit location around the country. In fact, as the Los Angeles Times has detailed, VIPR teams conducted 9,300 unannounced checkpoints and other search operations in the last year alone. The very thought of federal employees with zero law enforcement training roaming across our nation’s transportation infrastructure with the hope of randomly thwarting a domestic terrorist attack makes about as much sense as EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson’s Environmental Justice tour. continued 2 page links.......... http://www.forbes.com/sites/realspin/2012/02/... http://www.forbes.com/sites/realspin/2012/02/... |

TSA TO START FONDLING DRIVERS NOW, TOO?
Lawmaker introduces STRIP Act to stop agents from abusing their power Published: 48 mins ago by DREW ZAHN Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn. A U.S. congresswoman was alarmed to learn that blue-shirted Transportation Security Administration agents had left the airports in her native state to begin inspecting cars and trucks, as well. “Many of my constituents discovered this firsthand this past fall, as those familiar blue uniforms and badges appeared on Tennessee highways,” writes Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., in a Forbes editorial titled “The TSA Is Coming to a Highway Near You.” “In October,” she continued,“Tennessee became the first state to conduct a statewide Department of Homeland Security Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) team operation [that] randomly inspected Tennessee truck drivers and cars.” TSA representative Nico Melendez confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that these VIPR teams have also branched out to conduct security checks at subways, trains and cruise ship ports. Businessweek reports the total number of TSA agents more than tripled in the last decade, from 16,000 to 51,000, while the Times further reports that VIPR teams conducted more than 9,300 checkpoints and other ops in 2011 alone. Yet Blackburn is concerned not only with the increasing presence of the TSA, but also with the perceived power they have over Americans. For despite the fancy uniforms and tin badges, she asserts, the TSA’s transportation security officers, or TSOs, aren’t police and shouldn’t appear to be. Many TSOs, she points out, have had less training that it takes to become a security guard, let alone a law enforcement officer, and yet they stand equipped with uniforms and badges, asserting the authority to scan, X-ray and even pat down travelers in ever-more invasive ways. “While TSOs may have the appearance of [police], they have neither the authority nor the power,” Blackburn writes.“As TSOs continue to expand their presence beyond our nation’s airports and onto our highways, every American citizen has the right to know that they are not dealing with actual federal law enforcement officers.” Blackburn explains that when the TSA administratively reclassified its airport screeners as TSOs seven years ago, it also changed the agents’ uniform from black pants and white shirts to the familiar, police-like, blue shirts with metal badges – a change the congresswoman has now resolved to reverse. Blackburn, therefore, has introduced H.R. 3608, the “Stop TSA’s Reach in Policy,” or STRIP Act, as a way of putting the TSA back in its place. continued.......... http://www.wnd.com/2012/03/tsa-to-start-fondl... |

Mom Goes to Jail For Protecting Daughter From TSA
March 2, 2012 by POPEYE Filed under Establishing The Police State, Featured Stories (THE PATRIOT UPDATE) People are calling her ‘overprotective’—I call her a hero. Andrea Fornella Abbott was arrested when she refused to allow her daughter (age withheld) to be sexually touched by TSA agents. NewYorkDailyNews.com reports that Abbott was arrested at Nashville airport when she “shouted and swore” at TSA agents, telling them she wouldn’t allow her young daughter to have her “crotch grabbed”. Abbott’s daughter was singled-out for a pat-down after Abbott refused to go through the airports body scanners. According to The Tennessean, security officer Sabrina Birge told police that Abbott said “in a very stern voice with quite a bit of attitude” that Abbott and her young daughter would not go through the Rapiscan X-ray machine. The officer tried telling Abbott that the X-ray was “safer than her cell phone” but Abbott responded,“I still don’t want someone to see our bodies naked.” Next, Abbott tried to take a video of the TSA agents with her cell phone—and that’s when police swooped in, handcuffed her and carted her off to jail. There were no reports on what happened to the young daughter during the ruckus. On the one hand, it’s enlightening that, finally, more and more people are waking up to the fact that our rights as citizens are being trampled by power-hungry TSA agents. Unfortunately, if you do decide to defend yourself in a public airport there’s a chance you will either be threatened or, in the case of Andrea Abbott, taken to jail in handcuffs. Even talking in a “stern voice” to TSA agents regarding what you are and aren’t comfortable with can result in TSA agents calling the police. Also, airports are starting to ban people from videotaping their experiences in security lines. This is probably due to the many viral videos of TSA agents inappropriately touching little children and the elderly.(No need for all that pesky “evidence” regarding your 4th Amendment rights being violated, I suppose….) Ironically, Abbott’s imprisonment happened in the same week that TSA agents were supposedly directed NOT to grope so many little children in airport lines. This also happened the same week that a stun gun was found on a JetBlue flight in Newark, New Jersey and reportedly TSA still has no idea how the weapon got on the plane. And in case anyone’s interested, since implementing Janet Napolitano’s Gestapo-like TSA tactics using Rapiscan/public strip-search scanners and sexually invasive groping in airports, no terrorists, bombs or bomb-making parts have ever been discovered by TSA security guards. http://www.federaljack.com/... |

TSA Blocks Security Expert From Testifying To Congress
Lawmakers slam agency for treating Americans like “prisoners” and “cattle” Steve Watson Infowars.com March 27, 2012 The TSA ensured that a leading security expert, who has been vocally critical of the agency’s screening methods, was barred from speaking before a Congressional hearing yesterday. The hearing, before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, was held Monday in an effort to evaluate the agency’s performance and address concerns raised by lawmakers, experts in the field, and members of the public. Bruce Schneier, an internationally renowned security technologist and author, was scheduled to testify regarding the TSA’s security screening initiatives, but was “formally uninvited” at the last minute following a complaint by the agency. continued.......... http://www.infowars.com/tsa-blocks-security-e... |
